The apparatus can include a feedback control device to adjust the rotation speed of the microfeature workpiece based on the characteristic detected.

The measurement system includes a first sensor system for determining an acceleration of an object, the first sensor having a body with an electrically conducting measuring structure, a device for generating a first magnetic field, which acts on the measuring structure and a detector for detecting a second magnetic field or field changes, which are created by eddy currents generated by the measuring structure, the detector generating an output signal. A second sensor system for determining a position of the object, the second sensor system includes a scale graduation that lies opposite the detector and is scanned by the detector in a scanning area in which the measuring structure and the scale graduation are arranged placed on top of each other, or integrated into each other, and wherein the detector generates an acceleration signal and a position signal from a common scanning area. The measuring structure and the scale graduation are formed on a common body.

    摘要: A method of controlling the positioning and/or speed of axes on a machine tool as well as an apparatus for carrying out the method. The inventive method controls the positioning and/or speed of fast-rotating, high-accuracy orbital axes (i.e. rotational axes) of a gear-manufacturing machine, wherein a standard NC is used. The inventive method and apparatus are realized by the inclusion of a second control system which is provided in addition to the standard NC and is structured such that the known aliasing effects generated by underscanning and the limitation of the dynamics by the cycle times are avoided or considerably reduced. By application of the inventive method, higher accuracy can be attained while maintaining the full functional scope of the standard NC.

    摘要: An accelerometer has a solid cylindrical ferromagnetic rotor rotationally coupled to a vehicle wheel and coated with a conductive nonferromagnetic metal sheath. Magnets create a radial primary flux through the rotor while pickup coils located on the stator outside this field sense any variation in flux of a secondary field produced by the eddy currents in the coating. The output of these differentiating (pickup) coil is a function of the angular acceleration of the rotor and is used to regulate braking force in the wheel.
