摘要: A moving object detection apparatus repeatedly acquires, from a radar apparatus, observed-point information indicating observed-point positions that are positions of observed points where radar waves are reflected. The apparatus estimates, based on the observed-point positions indicated respectively by a plurality of pieces of the observed-point information and tracking filter coefficients indicating the degree of tracking the observed-point positions, a tracking trajectory tracking movement of a moving object corresponding to a plurality of the observed points. The apparatus determines whether distribution of the plurality of the observed points on both sides of the tracking trajectory is continuously biased to one side of the tracking trajectory. The apparatus sets the tracking filter coefficients so that the tracking degree is higher when the distribution of the plurality of the observed points is determined to be biased than when the distribution of the plurality of the observed points is determined to be not biased.

摘要: Various embodiments wirelessly detect micro gestures using multiple antenna of a gesture sensor device. At times, the gesture sensor device transmits multiple outgoing radio frequency (RF) signals, each outgoing RF signal transmitted via a respective antenna of the gesture sensor device. The outgoing RF signals are configured to help capture information that can be used to identify micro-gestures performed by a hand. The gesture sensor device captures incoming RF signals generated by the outgoing RF signals reflecting off of the hand, and then analyzes the incoming RF signals to identify the micro-gesture.

摘要: In an embodiment, an automation system for a vehicle may employ a variety of diversities to enhance reliability, accuracy, and stability in automating operation of the vehicle. For example, in an embodiment, an automation system for a vehicle may include multiple sensor pods with overlapping fields of view. Each sensor pod may include multiple different sensors in an embodiment, providing diverse views of the environment surrounding the vehicle. A set of sensor pods with overlapping fields of view may also transmit their object data at different points in time, providing diversity in time. Redundancy in other areas, such as the network switches which connect the sensor pods to an automation controller, may also aid in provided fail operational functionality. In an embodiment, the sensor pods may include local processing to process the data captured by the sensors into object identification.

摘要: A radar system suitable for an automated vehicle includes a radar sensor and a controller. The radar-sensor is mounted on a host-vehicle. The radar-sensor is operable to detect radar-signals reflected by scattering-points of a target-vehicle located proximate to the host-vehicle. The controller is in communication with the radar-sensor. The controller is configured to determine a present-range-rate, a present-azimuth, and optionally a present-range, of each of the scattering-points at a present-time. The controller is also configured to recall a prior-range-rate, a prior-azimuth, and optionally a prior-range, of each of the scattering-points at a prior-time. The controller is also configured to calculate a yaw-rate of the target-vehicle at the present-time based on the present-range-rate, the present-azimuth, the prior-range-rate, and the prior-azimuth, and optionally the present-range and the prior-range, of each of the scattering-points.

摘要: A method for tracking an object of interest with a passive radar system using multiple radar sensors. The method includes the steps of receiving, with at least one controller, radar sensor characteristics and radar sensor locations data for a plurality of radar receivers occupying an area of interest. Data indicative of direct or reflected radar return signals from emitters of opportunity received by the plurality of radar receivers is also received at the controller. From this data, objects of interest are identified. The controller is configured to calculate optimized radar sensor parameters for the plurality of radar receivers for each identified object of interest, and transmit the same to the plurality of radar receivers for implementation. Radar return data received by the plurality of radar receivers using the optimized sensor parameters is provided to the central controller, and updated optimized sensor parameters according to the updated received radar return data are calculated.

摘要: Disclosed here are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments for track association. An embodiment operates by receiving a first set of track identification data from a first tracking system. The first set of track identification data is associated with a global track identifier (GID). The first set of track identification data associated with the GID is broadcasted to the first tracking system and a second tracking system. A second set of track identification data is received from the second tracking system. The second set of track identification data identifies any tracks of the second tracking system that match the first set of track identification data. The GID is associated with the second set of track identification data.
