    摘要: An electronic musical instrument of the digital synthesis type that uses digital processing techniques to impart not only the desired harmonic structure and pitch, but also to impart the correct amplitude and envelope. Only after all of the harmonic structure processing, all amplitude scaling, and all panning/mixing has been performed in digital circuitry, are the four outputs converted by digital to analog converters into analog musical outputs. Part of the digital processing includes a digital scaling circuit using a barrel interpolator to scale each sample from 1/2 to 31/32 and a shift right register to scale each sample between 1 and 1/32,768.

    摘要: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for conducting interactive sound propagation and rending for a plurality of sound sources in a virtual environment scene are disclosed. According to one method, the method includes decomposing a virtual environment scene containing a plurality of sound sources into a plurality of partitions and forming a plurality of source group clusters, wherein each of the source group clusters includes two or more of the sound sources located within a common partition. The method further includes determining, for each of the source group clusters, a single set of sound propagation paths relative to a listener position and generating a simulated output sound at a listener position using sound intensities associated with the determined sets of sound propagation paths.

Audio out is sent to a block that splits, processes and combines the stereo stream into several different versions that are fed into the Stereo Bus A. The Stereo Bus is fed to a Compare Block that adjusts the amplitude of the original and processed audio by averaging.

    摘要: A pickup processing system for a guitar or other musical instrument. According to one embodiment, a split pickup is employed that separates the sound from the two bass strings from the other four strings. The signal from the bass strings may be provided to an octave divider, which creates a bass sound to add back into the sound. The octave divider produces sound without discontinuities or other artifacts. Other effects include restored acoustical properties of the guitar body, stereo imaging, reverb and others. The present invention may be fully contained within the body of an acoustic guitar.
