摘要: Some demonstrative embodiments include apparatuses, systems and/or methods of determining a pupillary distance. For example, a product may include one or more tangible computer-readable non-transitory storage media including computer-executable instructions operable to, when executed by at least one computer processor, enable the at least one computer processor to implement operations of measuring a pupillary distance between pupils of a user. The operations may include receiving a captured image comprising first and second reflections of a light of a light source, the first reflection comprising a reflection of the light from a first pupil of the user, and the second reflection comprising a reflection of the light from a second pupil of the user; and determining the pupillary distance based on locations of the first and second reflections in the captured image and an estimated distance between an image capturing device and pupils of the user, when the image is captured.

摘要: A method of performing an eye examination test for examining eyes of a user, said method using a computing device as well as an input tool, wherein said computing device comprises a screen and comprises a camera unit arranged for capturing images, said method comprising the steps of capturing, by said camera unit of said computing device, at least one image of a human face of said user facing said screen, detecting, by said computing device, in said at least one captured image, both pupils of said human face, determining, by said computing device, a distance of said user to said screen based on a predetermined distance between pupils of a user, a distance between said detected pupils in said at least one captured image, and a focal length of said camera unit corresponding to said at least one captured image, and performing, by said computing device in combination with said input tool, said eye examination test using said determined distance.

摘要: The present invention relates to a system and method for pupil tracking and eye-markers extracting using an image acquisition device such as a visible-light camera shooting a non-static head. In an embodiment of the present invention eye-markers are extracted from one eye or from both eyes. The extraction from both eyes uses for averaging the results of the two eyes when abnormalities are detected in one of the eyes. In addition, the invention relates to a computerized application, which interacts with a user (for example trough a game or movie, usually in a context of biofeedback), and takes video shooting of the users face and eyes during said interaction.

In an embodiment, a method for evaluating the pupillary responses includes using a head mounted display (HMD) worn by a patient to expose a first eye to light stimulation in accordance with a relative afferent pupillary defects (RAPD) eye test, an imaging device of the HMD receiving image data of the first eye, then exposing a second eye to the same RAPD eye test and receiving image data of the second eye, and generating at least one test result by using the image data of the first eye and the image data of the second eye.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a device for visual field testing 11, which maps eye function of a test subject, the device comprising a display unit 17 displaying stimuli 23 to the test subject, and an eye tracking unit 19 detecting eye motions in response to the displayed stimuli. The display unit 17 displays at least a first 23 and a second 25 peripheral stimulus at different sectors in relation to a point of fixation 27 at the same time and the eye tracking unit determines which of the first and second stimulus is first gazed upon by the test subject. This allows different parts of the retina to compete with regards to retinal sensitivity and allows for a precise and efficient visual field testing.

摘要: In some aspects, a device may calibrate a brightness setting of the device for a user based on: displaying, by the device, first calibration content and modifying a luminance of a display while displaying the first calibration screen until a pupil size of the user satisfies a first target pupil size; and displaying, by the device, second calibration content and modifying the luminance of the display while displaying the second calibration screen until the pupil size of the user satisfies a second target pupil size. The device may calculate a metric value based upon pixel values of content to be displayed. The device may display, using a luminance that is adjusted based on the metric and in accordance with the brightness setting, the content. Numerous other aspects are described.
