Abstract:
An audio transceiver capable of wirelessly receiving source audio data from a multimedia device, and to be coupled to an audio playback device via a USB interface includes a processing unit that makes the audio transceiver appear as a virtual USB storage device to the audio playback device, and that establishes a virtual audio file to be read by the audio playback device. Upon receipt of a file segment request from the audio playback device via the USB interface, the processing unit generates an audio file segment data associated with the source audio data to have a format supported by the audio playback device and transmits the same to the audio playback device as playable audio data via the USB interface.

A quasi-resonant half-bridge converter includes a switch unit including first and second switches that are coupled in series, a capacitor unit coupled to the switch unit in parallel, a rectifier unit, an output capacitor, and a transformer coupled to the aforesaid components. The first and second switches are respectively controlled using first and second control signals that have a constant frequency. Duty cycles of the first and second control signals may be adjusted based upon a DC output voltage across the output capacitor for promoting conversion efficiency of the converter when operating at light load.
Abstract:
A wireless mouse includes a base having a top surface defining a button region and a non-button region, and a top cover including a cover body that separably covers the top surface of the base. The cover body has an inner surface facing the non-button region of the top surface and an integrally formed groove defining member extending from the inner surface into a space disposed between the cover body and the top surface of the base. The groove defining member cooperates with the inner surface of the cover body to define a positioning groove that is open to the space between the cover body and the top surface of the base into which a wireless receiver is received and releasably retained.
Abstract:
A method is provided to generate a 3D image using a light-field camera that includes a main lens, a micro-lens array, a light sensing component, and an image processing module. The micro-lens array forms a plurality of adjacent micro-images at different positions of the light sensing component. Each micro-image includes multiple image zones corresponding to different viewing angles. For each micro-image, the image processing module obtains image pixel values from the image zones, so as to generate camera images corresponding to different viewing angles. The image processing module combines the camera images to generate the 3D image.
Abstract:
An assembling machine for assembling an elongated module into a tubular body includes a holding assembly disposed on a base for holding the tubular body, a conveying assembly slidably connected to the base and having a cantilever for holding the elongated module and adapted to extend into the tubular body through a first opening thereof with the elongated module partially protruding from a second opening thereof, and a dispenser positioned between the cantilever and the holding assembly for dispensing adhesive on a joint surface of the elongated module. The holding assembly is adapted to drive the tubular body to move to a pressed position, so that an inner surface of the tubular body is pressed against the joint surface of the elongated module.
Abstract:
A method for rendering an image from a light-field camera, which generates a raw light-field image, includes: generating feature data, which includes feature elements associated with position information and obtained based on the raw light-field image and a preset threshold condition; generating a raw focused image from the raw light-field image; obtaining a virtual focus position that is designated on the raw focused image; and refocusing the raw focused image according to the virtual focus position by updating pixel values of pixels of the raw focused image that correspond respectively in position to the feature elements of the feature data, so as to generate a refocused image.
