    摘要: A vertical multi-junction photovoltaic device includes a structured substrate including a plurality of substantially vertical elongated structures protruding from a planar surface of the structured substrate. An areal density of the elongated structures at a first sliced plane parallel to the planer surface is different than an areal density of the elongated structures at a second sliced plane parallel to the planar surface. The device further includes least a first sub-cell and a second sub-cell, each having a corresponding vertical p-n or p-i-n junction formed of conformal layers, the first sub-cell being formed in a first region incorporating the first sliced plane and the second sub-cell being formed above the first sub-cell in a second region incorporating the second sliced plane.

    摘要: An improved picture frame having an open display pocket mounted behind a viewing aperture for changing the picture displayed within the frame. An easel is mounted to the rear of the frame for supporting the frame in either a portrait or landscape orientation. A hanging apparatus is provided for mounting the picture frame to a wall. A plate with radially outwardly-facing substantially circular cylindrical surfaces attaches to the wall. A hanger mounts to the frame and has radially inwardly-facing substantially circular cylindrical surfaces seating against the cylindrical surfaces of the plate. The plate has a first lip extending radially outwardly of the cylindrical surfaces of the plate and the hanger has a second lip extending radially outwardly of the cylindrical surfaces of the hanger.

    摘要: An ear thermometer having the RFID reading function comprises an ear thermometer body, a display unit, an RFID reading key and a temperature detection unit. The ear thermometer can read an RFID tag of a subject and detect his ear temperature. The RFID tag and the measured ear temperature of the subject can be simultaneously displayed on the display unit of the ear thermometer. Moreover, the ear thermometer can store and call out several groups of RFID tags and temperature measurement results of different subjects.

    摘要: The present invention discloses an ear thermometer with a simple-structure and easy-operation probe-cover detaching mechanism, which comprises a body having a probe and a detaching element installed to the bottom of the probe. The detaching element can be directly operated by a finger. After measurement, the user can use the detaching element to exert an outward force on a probe cover sleeving the probe and reject the probe cover from the probe. Further, the detaching element may be made of a metallic material, and magnetic elements are arranged at the corresponding positions of the probe bottom; thereby, the detaching element can be automatically restored to its original position by the attractive force of the magnetic elements. Therefore, the present invention provides an ear thermometer, which can easily reject a probe cover from the probe and has the advantages of simple structure and easy operation.

    摘要: A waveguide for tympanic thermometer formed by an elongate hollow member having substantially ellipsoidal shape truncated at both ends along its major axis direction. The waveguide is interposed between a tympanic membrane of which the temperature is to be measured and an infrared radiation sensor so as to guide the infrared radiation from the tympanic membrane to the sensor. Alternatively, the waveguide may also be a hollow member including an end portion having a gradually reduced inner diameter toward the side of sensor. The gradually reduced end portion is preferably of a truncated half ellipsoidal shape having a length between about 1/10 to about 1/3 of the distance from the sensor to the distal end of the waveguide.
