摘要: The present invention detects polygons located in a region of diffused light or specular light, divides that polygon and generates subdivided polygons, and for those polygons, carries out lighting processing and rendering processing using linear interpolation according to the conventional Gouraud shading method. In consideration of the efficiency of the image processing, the present invention does not subdivide all the polygons, but rather subdivides the polygons located within the area of diffused light or specular light. Or, the present invention subdivides only those polygons located within areas where the intensity of the diffused light or specular light varies.

摘要: A laminate using a polymeric molded article as a substrate and having a light transparency, gas barrier properties and an excellent alkali resistance. The laminate is obtainable by carrying out a surface treatment to deposit an oxide of at least one metal selected from the metal elements of groups 2, 8, 9, 10 and 11 of the periodic table, and then forming a gas barrier layer such as oxides of silicon, nitrides of silicon and carbides of silicon on the treated surface. The gas barrier layer is not peeled off from the polymeric molded article even after being immersed in an alkali solution of pH 12 or more. The amount of the metal on the treated surface is preferably in the range of 5.times.10.sup.14 atoms/cm.sup.2 to 3.times.10.sup.16 atoms/cm.sup.2 in terms of the metal atoms per unit area. The practical performance of the laminate is not deteriorated during the patterning, by alkali etching, of a transparent conductive layer formed on the laminate.

摘要: It is possible to better correct dynamic false contours in gradation display made by dividing each field into plural subfields. A motion vector detection section detects a motion vector extending between pixels mutually corresponding between two mutually neighboring fields. A pixel position changing section calculates a pixel position vector indicating from where to acquire data for use in rearranging emission data by multiplying a motion vector ending at a pixel to be rearranged by a predetermined function. Furthermore, when a brightness difference between the pixel from which data is to be acquired and the pixel to be rearranged is larger than a threshold value, the pixel position changing section corrects the calculated pixel position vector to change the pixel indicated thereby to one closer to the pixel to be rearranged until the brightness difference is equal to or smaller than the threshold value.

摘要: A transparent panel heater which can be used for heating a window portion of liquid crystal displays, refrigerated showcases, freezed showcases, defrosters of windshields, and the like. The panel heater has a transparent substrate, a transparent conductive film formed on the substrate, a substantially light-transmittable metallic electrode-underling-layer formed on the transparent conductive film and a pair of metallic electrodes which are provided for electrifying the conductive film and formed on the electrode-underlying-layer. The transparent conductive film is a laminate of at least one transparent thin layer made of a nitride and/or a carbide and at least one substantially light-transmittable metallic layer. The transparent conductive film and electrode-underlying-layer are preferably formed by a dry process, and the electrodes are preferably formed by a wet plating method.

摘要: The invention provides a circuit board for an optical element which is disposed in an optical reading apparatus or an optical writing apparatus and is used to irradiate document reading light upon an document or irradiate image writing light upon a photosensitive material through a lighting window thereof. The circuit board for an optical element comprises a transparent layer in the form of a film, one or a plurality of metal electrodes formed in a layered condition at a portion of a first principal surface of the transparent layer positioned on the light incidence side along the lighting window which is defined so as to extend perpendicularly to the moving direction of the document or the photosensitive material in order to transmit the light there through, and a conductive charge preventing layer a light intercepting property and formed at a portion of a second principal surface of the transparent layer, which is the opposite surface to the first principal surface of the transparent layer and is opposed to the original or the photosensitive material so as to define the lighting window. An optical reading element or a image writing optical element is mounted on the metal electrode or any of the metal electrodes.
