Provided are a method and apparatus for encoding/decoding a moving picture by using the diffusion properties of the image. In the method, a value of a current pixel is predicted from the values of neighboring pixels of the current pixel, based on the variations between the values of the neighboring pixels present in directions toward the current pixel; a correction value of the predicted value is calculated from at least one variation from among the variations; the value of the current pixel is determined by reflecting the correction value into the predicted value; and then, the original image is reconstructed using the determined value of the current pixel.

A conductive spacer is disposed on a sidewall of the lower part of the bottom electrode. A nitride spacer is disposed on a top surface of the conductive spacer and a sidewall of the upper part of the bottom electrode. A resistance changeable element is disposed on the upper part of the bottom electrode and the nitride spacer. The upper part of the bottom electrode contains nitrogen (N).

A fuel efficiency measurement system includes a fuel supply tank for supplying hydrogen to be used as a fuel to a fuel cell of the vehicle during measurement of fuel efficiency and a precision electronic balance for detecting a weight of the fuel supply tank so as to perform the measurement of fuel efficiency based on a vehicle driving distance and a change in weight of the fuel supply tank measured by the electronic balance during measurement of fuel efficiency. According to the fuel efficiency measurement system, it is possible to more accurately calculate fuel efficiency without using hydrogen of a hydrogen tank installed in the vehicle.

Provided herein are uses of genes for HOG, Ras and cAMP signal transduction pathways to treat fungal infection. To regulate the HOG pathway of Cryptococcus neoformans, roles of SSK1, TCO2, SSK2, PBS2, HOG1, ENA1 and NHA1 genes were investigated to find that a biosynthesis level of ergosterol is increased when these genes are inhibited. When the genes are inhibited, a large amount of ergosterol is distributed on a fungal cell membrane. Accordingly, since there are many working points of an ergosterol-binding antifungal agent, an efficiency of the ergosterol-binding antifungal agent can be considerably improved. To regulate the Ras and cAMP pathways of Cryptococcus neoformans, roles of RAS1, RAS2, CDC24, GPA1, CAC1, ACA1, PKA1, HSP12 and HSP122 genes were investigated to find that a sensitivity to a polyene- or azole-based drug is increased when these genes are inhibited. Therefore, an antifungal pharmaceutical composition including an inhibitor against the gene or protein encoded by the same can be used as an excellent combined antifungal agent which can reduce a conventional amount of an antifungal agent used and increase an efficiency.

A vision inspection system and a workpiece inspection method are used in inspecting a workpiece. The vision inspection system includes a level block having an upper surface whose opposite end regions are defined as a first position and a second position. A first transfer device has a table for supporting the workpiece. The first transfer device is installed on the upper surface of the level block for rectilinearly moving the table between the first position and the second position. A camera is arranged above the level block for taking an image of the workpiece to output image data. A second transfer device is installed on the upper surface of the level block for rectilinearly moving the camera between the first position and the second position. A computer is connected to the first transfer means, the camera and the second transfer means to control them in a specified manner.

An apparatus and a method of realizing an antenna matching in accordance with a user's body effect and a state of a mobile device are provided. The method includes determining a state of the mobile device on a basis of a call mode and at least one of whether an external device is connected to the mobile device, whether a receiver is being used, whether a speaker is being used, and whether a proximity sensor is activated, determining an optimal Tunable Matching Network (TMN) circuit adjustment value in accordance with the determined state, and performing the antenna matching in accordance with the optimal TMN circuit adjustment value.
