Those route share the same starting point and the destination, but vary in course on the way. Then for route selection, the CPU 1 refers to position information provided by a locator 9 to determine which route the user is now moving. In this manner, the navigation apparatus can automatically select one route from several others derived through route search.

摘要： Communication equipment that is provided with an isolating switch, which is operated by placement of a handset, instead of a conventionally used insulating component. The isolating switch constitutes an electrical insulation between a charging, terminal of a base unit and an external electric circuit. This structure eliminates the necessity of providing an insulating component such as a transformer and the like, so as to achieve a cost reduction of the communication equipment, and also improves sound quality of the communication equipment. In addition, the isolating switch is arranged in Such a manner that a direction of tile force applied by the handset to depress the terminal of the base unit and a direction of the force applied by the handset to depress a switch level are separated from each other. The isolating switch has a construction that enables the switch lever to function with a small loading weight, and to keep a contact point of the switch depressed by an intense force. As a result, reliable operation of the switch is attained without increasing, the weight of the handset, since the is available weight of the handset can be utilized efficiently. Further, a mechanical structure for fixing the position of the handset can be eliminated, so as to simplify the overall structure of the communication equipment.

摘要： A path search part searches for an optimal guidance path between any two locations arbitrarily designated on map data. A lane guidance information generation part divides the path searched in the path search part at intersections into a plurality of between-intersection roads. The lane guidance information generation part then generates lane guidance information by referring to the map data corresponding to each of the between-intersection roads. Herein, exit lanes of the between-intersection roads are each restricted by heading direction control written on the map data. If the exit lane corresponding to the next between-intersection are found plural, the lane guidance information generation part further refers to another between-intersection road located next. In this manner, it becomes possible to provide the lane guidance information with consideration for not only the closest intersection but some more intersections ahead.

摘要： A cage for a roller bearing which is free of fretting and abnormal noise, which can be manufactured at low cost, and which can be easily mounted in the bearing. The cage is formed by bending a metal sheet having pockets into a ring shape, temporarily joining its ends, heat-treating the ring thus formed to remove stress, and separating the temporarily joined portion. Such a cage tends to rotate slower than the raceway members on the driving side of the bearing, making it possible to reduce fretting. Such a cage can be used under high-temperature conditions.

Each of the first to n-th capacitors stores a two-valued information and therefore, the memory cell can store 2.sup.n data values therein. The integration scale can be enhanced.

Thus, a desired button can be selected by speech, from chapter selection buttons displayed on a chapter selection image of a DVD video.
