摘要： The disclosure describes a system and method for locating a number in a source document by presenting and manipulating data on private and public companies. A central database of financial information is established. A target entity is entered within the central database by a user, and financial information of the target entity from the central database is displayed. Once a number within the display of financial information is selected, the system and method determines which document is the source document containing the numbers, searches through the source document for the number, identifies the location of the number in the source document and highlights and displays the number as it appears in the source document to the user.

摘要： The invention provides a method of treating or preventing a pathologic state in a mammal. The method comprises administering to the mammal a promoter of T-cell expansion and an inducer of CD40 stimulation, wherein CD40 is stimulated on cells of the immune system. The promoter of T-cell expansion and inducer of CD40 stimulation are administered in synergistically effective amounts to treat or prevent the pathologic state in the mammal. The invention also provides a method of assessing the effectiveness of treatment of a pathologic state in a mammal, wherein the mammal has been administered a promoter of T-cell expansion and an inducer of CD40 stimulation, wherein CD40 is stimulated on cells of the immune system. The method comprises measuring the level of at least one antibody in a test sample obtained from the mammal, which at least one antibody is specific for an antigen that is known to be associated with the pathologic state, and wherein the level of the at least one antibody is indicative of the effectiveness of treatment of the pathologic state in the mammal.

摘要： Techniques for bond pad fabrication are provided. In one aspect, a method of forming a bond pad comprises the following steps. At least one alloying element is selectively introduced to at least a portion of at least one surface of the bond pad. The at least one alloying element is diffused into at least a portion of the bond pad through one or more thermal cycles. The at least one alloying element may be selectively introduced to the bond pad by depositing an alloying element layer comprising the at least one alloying element onto the bond pad and patterning and etching at least a portion of the layer.

摘要： A semiconducting structure and a method of forming thereof, includes a substrate having a p-type device region and an n-type device region; a first-type suicide contact to the n-type device region; the first-type suicide having a work function that is substantially aligned to the n-type device region conduction band; and a second-type silicide contact to the p-type device region; the second-type silicide having a work function that is substantially aligned to the p-type device region valence band. The present invention also provides a semiconducting structure and a method of forming therefore, in which the silicide contact material and silicide contact processing conditions are selected to provide strain based device improvements in pFET and nFET devices.

摘要： A borehole tool having adjacently located fluid injection/withdrawal apparatus and an electromagnetic measurement apparatus is provided. The electromagnetic measurement apparatus can be an imaging apparatus for helping set the tool in desired locations for permeability testing via fluid injection or withdrawal. In a second mode, during fluid injection or withdrawal, and if desired, before and/or after injection or withdrawal, a plurality of electromagnetic measurements (images) are made. Based on the electromagnetic and hydraulic measurements, and a model which interrelates the measurements, determinations are made as to various characteristics of the formation, including effective permeabilities. Related methods for utilizing the tool and for treating the data in an integrated fashion are also set forth.
