In the optical substrate, when the complex refractive index of the hard coat layer at light of 550 nm is represented as nH−ik, nH is 1.45 to 1.59 and k is substantially zero. When the optical admittance of the interface between the interference spot-preventing layer and the hard coat layer is represented as (x+iy), x and y satisfy the formula of (x−nH)2+y2≦0.08.

    摘要: A fluid scroll machine whose movable scroll is balanced with a simple construction to decrease the weight and cost of the machine. Counterweights are attached to the peripheral portion of the movable scroll, and the thickness of the engaged portion of the scroll is reduced at the part of the portion, which does not participate in the compression of gas in the machine, so that the scroll is balanced with regard to the rotation thereof. The counterweights are attached to the movable scroll to increase the total mass thereof to balance the scroll. The thickness of the part of the engaged portion of the scroll is reduced to decrease the total mass thereof to balance the scroll. Therefore, the counterweights can be made relatively small.

    摘要: A scroll type positive displacement apparatus which can be used as a vacuum pump is disclosed. A pair of interfitting scrolls are housed in a first container which communicates with a vacuum chamber to be evacuated by the pump. The scrolls are rotated in synchrony about parallel, nonaligned axes by a drive motor. The scrolls define a plurality of spiral compression chambers which change in size when the scrolls are rotated, compressing a gas contained in the compression chambers. The shaft of one of the scrolls has a discharge port formed therein which communicates between the centermost compression chamber and the inside of a second container which adjoins the first container. The second container is partially filled with lubricating oil and communicates with the atmosphere. The discharge port is equipped with a check valve which permits compressed gas to enter the second container from the scrolls but prevents gas from flowing in the opposite direction. The pump may be further equipped with one or more oil supply passageways formed in the shaft of the scroll in which the discharge port is formed. Lubricating oil is introduced via the oil supply passageway from the second container into one or more of the compression chambers of the pump.

    摘要: In an encased electric motor within a casing, an electrically insulating varnish is applied by vacuum impregnation to the inside surfaces of the casing and to the outer surface of the stator of the motor. The remaining empty space within the casing is filled with a heat conducting gas mixture comprising approximately 60-90% by volume of helium, with the remaining percentage being an electrically insulating gas having better electrically insulating properties than helium, such as sulphur hexafluoride. This encased motor is much lighter than conventional encased motors in which the stator enclosure is filled with a heat conducting resin potting compound and avoids warping damage which frequently occurs in conventional encased motors due to thermal expansion of the heat conducting resin potting compound.

According to the invention, an information display panel which can prevent a color mixture with the adjacent pixel when viewed at a slant angle and can perform a color display having an excellent color reproducibility can be obtained.

    摘要: An antireflection film is formed of an organic film, and a hard-coating layer, a high refractive index layer and a low refractive index layer laminated in this order on the organic film. The high refractive index layer is formed of metal oxide particles of ITO with electrical conductivity and TiO2 with high refractive index, and synthetic resin. A volume percentage of the TiO2 particles to a total volume of the TiO2 and ITO particles in the high refractive index layer is 1 to 60%, and a volume percentage of the metal oxide particles to a total volume of the metal oxide particles and the synthetic resin is 20% or more.

    摘要: An antireflection film is formed of an organic film, a hard hard coating layer on the organic film, a first layer coated on the hard coating layer, and a second layer having an index of refraction lower than that of the first layer and coated on the first layer. The first layer is formed of a synthetic resin having pores therein and metallic oxide particles contained in the synthetic resin. The metallic oxide is at least on selected from the group consisting of ZrO1, TiO2, NbO, ITO, ATO, SbO2, In2O3, SnO2 and ZnO. The synthetic resin is ultraviolet ray curable resin or electron beam curable resin. The second layer partly enters the pores of the first layer to firmly bond to the first layer through the pores.

    摘要: In an AT-cut quartz resonator having excitation electrodes formed on two principal surfaces of an AT-cut quartz substrate, the two electrodes are displaced a predetermined amount apart in a direction orthogonal to the X-axis direction so that a frequency deviation in a temperature range of from −10° C. to 50° C. is less than ±2.5 ppm. Further, in an AT-cut quartz resonator in which vertically opposed electrodes on both principal surfaces of a quartz substrate are slightly displaced apart in opposite directions along the Z′ axis of quartz crystal, a balancing load is formed on a piezoelectric substrate on the side opposite to the direction of displacement of the electrodes. Thus, the present invention dispenses with the need for raising the ratio of conforming to nonconforming quartz substrates by eliminating variations in their cutting angle, but makes it possible to use nonconforming quartz substrates to offer customers low-cost quartz resonators of oscillation frequencies following various specs, by making easy, simple structural modifications of slightly changing the electrode arrangement or structure, or by making simple improvements to the conventional quartz resonator manufacturing process. In the manufacture of oscillators for use in consumer-electronics equipment, it is possible to fulfill any particulars specs without inserting a temperature compensating circuit in the oscillation circuit. In regards to industrial equipment, any adjustments need not be made to the temperature compensating circuit in the oscillation circuit, and this improves the productivity of various communications equipment and various electronics equipment and reduces their manufacturing costs.
