    摘要: A perpendicular magnetic recording medium includes: a substrate; at least one underlayer formed above the substrate; and a perpendicular magnetic recording layer formed above the at least one underlayer, an easy magnetization axis of the perpendicular magnetic recording layer being oriented perpendicular to the substrate, the perpendicular magnetic recording layer including magnetic crystal particles and grain boundaries surrounding the magnetic crystal particles, wherein the grain boundaries contain an oxide of silicon and at least one element selected from the group consisting of Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, Ca, Sr, and Ba, and the ratio of a total amount of substance of Si, Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, Ca, Sr, and Ba in the perpendicular magnetic recording layer is no less than 1 mol % and no more than 20 mol %.

    摘要: The antenna of the present invention comprises flat-plate conductive ground plane 1, first antenna element 13 with one end 13a connected to feeding point 2 and intermediate portion 13b folded by a plurality of times, which is extended upward from the ground plane 1, and second antenna element 23 with one end 23a connected to the other end 13c of the first antenna element 13, with intermediate portion 23b formed in symmetrical relation to the first antenna element 13, and also, with the other end 23c connected to the ground plane 1. Thus, it is possible to obtain a small size antenna with the antenna element lowered in height.

    摘要: A magnetic recording-reproducing apparatus has a magnetic recording medium having a nonmagnetic substrate, and a functional layer and a recording layer formed on the nonmagnetic substrate, the recording layer exhibiting a magnetic anisotropy energy density KuRL, the functional layer developing ferromagnetism upon irradiation with light so as to exhibit a magnetic anisotropy energy density KuFL lower than the magnetic anisotropy energy density KuRL and the functional layer serving to lower the magnetic anisotropy energy density of the recording layer through exchange coupling interaction with the recording layer when the functional layer is irradiated with light, a light source which irradiates the functional layer with light, and a magnetic head having a writing head writing signal magnetization by applying a magnetic field to the recording layer and a reading head reading the signal magnetization recorded in the recording layer.

Each auxiliary internal electrode is connected in parallel to the internal electrode laminated on the magnetic layer that is different from the magnetic layer on which the auxiliary internal electrode is laminated.
