    摘要: A fuel injector for the direct injection of fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine includes an energizable actuator, a valve needle, which is in operative connection with the actuator and acted upon by a restoring spring in a closing direction to actuate a valve-closure member, which forms a sealing seat together with a valve-seat surface formed at a valve-seat body. The valve-seat body includes at least two spray-discharge orifices. The pressure of the fuel flowing through the fuel injector is greater than 10 bar.

    摘要: Known fuel injectors have a valve-closure member, which cooperates with a sealing seat of a valve seat, and a flow exit region situated downstream from the sealing seat, the fuel spray generated by the fuel injectors having an average droplet diameter that is not small enough for future regulations governing exhaust emission. In the fuel injector according to the present invention the atomization is improved in a simple manner and the average droplet diameter is reduced without additional auxiliary power. The projections which influence the fuel flow are situated in the flow exit region.

    摘要: The method for producing and securing an apertured disk for a fuel injector is distinguished by the use of the following method steps: a) making available a flat, metallic sheet having a constant thickness, b) reducing the thickness in one region of the sheet by impressing or embossing, c) introducing at least one spray-discharge opening in the region having reduced thickness, d) machining the sheet until an apertured disk having predefined outside dimensions is attained, and e) securing the apertured disk on a valve-seat member of the fuel injector in such a way that a lower end face of the valve-seat member overlaps an intake region of the apertured disk produced by the thickness reduction, such that the at least one spray-discharge opening is covered.

    摘要: A system for relative angle-of-rotation adjustment of a camshaft of an internal-combustion engine. An adjusting unit has an interior part connected with the camshaft, and a cell wheel with several cells distributed along the circumference. Interior part webs divide the cells into two pressure spaces. Hydraulic pressure admitted or relieved from the pressure spaces causes camshaft rotation between two end positions. A movable locking element in the cell wheel or the interior part opens up a hydraulic line to a pressure space when in an unlocked position. When in a locked position, bores in the interior part are closed off. The locking element can move into first and second unlocking positions, whereby the various bores are opened at desired intervals as the locking element moves. As a result, the useful life and the functionality of the locking device is improved.

    摘要: An electromagnetically operable valve includes at least one component part, e.g. the armature, which possesses, prior to the application of a wear resistant coating, a wedged surface, which is in each case variably creatable in accordance with a magnetic and hydraulic optimum. The annular impact segment formed by the wedging possesses a defined impact face width or contact width which remains constant throughout the service life, since any wearing of the impact face does not lead, in continuous running, to an enlargement of the contact. The valve is particularly suitable for use in fuel injection systems of explosion-type, spark-ignition combustion engines.
