摘要： The invention provides a method, system, and device for connecting loose trial lenses into a virtual reality (VR) headset, augmented reality (AR) headset, or other head mounted display. The system consists of two components: First, a component that is installed mechanically into the headset and which remains in the headset throughout the duration of its use. Second, a component which holds loose trial lenses and can be inserted and removed from the headset at will. The two components may connect to each other mechanically, magnetically, electrically, or by other means. In the magnetic system, both components contain embedded magnets that allow the second component to hold loose trial lenses inside the headset magnetically.

The shield is positioned adjacent the metal object and is operable to shield the metal object from the electromagnetic field generated by the transmitter coil array, such that the shield substantially reduces distortion of the electromagnetic field by the metal object.

摘要： An actuation apparatus includes at least one magnetic shape memory (MSM) element containing a material configured to expand and/or contract in response to exposure to a magnetic field. Among other things, the MSM element may be configured to pump fluid through a micropump by expanding and/or contracting in response to the magnetic field. The magnetic field may rotate about an axis of rotation and exhibit a distribution having a component substantially perpendicular to the axis of rotation. Further, the magnetic field distribution may include at least two components substantially orthogonal to one another lying in one or more planes perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The at least one MSM element may contain nickel, manganese, and gallium. A polymerase chain reaction (PCR) may be enhanced by contacting a PCR reagent and DNA material with the MSM element.

摘要： An apparatus and lifting method for a vehicle axle having a first bracket, a second bracket, an air spring and at least one connector. The first bracket has two substantially vertically oriented slots. The second bracket has a substantially horizontal plate and a bar secured to the plate. The ends of the bar extend through the vertically oriented slots. The air spring is located under the horizontal plate. Connectors connect the bar to the axle housing so that when the air bag is inflated the second bracket, with the bar, is moved upwardly. The axle housing, being connected to the bar via the connectors is also drawn upwardly.
