    摘要: An intake structure for a saddle-ride type vehicle for increasing the degree of freedom of the length of a duct associated with an intake air cleaner case disposed below a seat. An air taking-in port is provided in a lid member serving as a portion of an upper wall of an air cleaner case located below a seat. A concave portion is formed on an upper wall surface communicating with the taking-in port. The concave portion and a bottom plate of the seat facing the concave portion forms a pseudo duct-like intake passage communicating with the taking-in port. A side cover is provided with a stepped surface extending toward the inside of a vehicle from an external surface thereof. An opening, opened downwardly, is provided in the stepped surface to improvement in intake performance and to reduce dust and the like from entering.

    摘要: A radiator screen arrangement (10) for a combine harvester is provided. A screen (12) through which air, which is to pass through a radiator, is drawn by a fan. Rotating means (16) are provided for rotating the screen. Blanking means (18), past which the screen is rotated, provides a blanked off area of the screen which is not subject to the induction pressure of the fan and from which particles can therefore be more easily removed. The arrangement is characterised in that the blanking means has a leading edge (18a) which is of generally spiral shape so that the particles on the outer surface of the screen which enter the blanked-off area can reach the outer periphery (12d) of the rotating screen without being exposed to the induction pressure of the fan and hence have an improved chance of being detached from the screen.

The fan may be configured to draw air through the heat exchanger and between the shroud inlet and shroud outlet. Additionally, the air filter arrangement may include an air filter disposed within the fan shroud between the fan and the heat exchanger such that the air flowing through at least one heat exchanger and between the shroud inlet and shroud outlet is directed around the air filter.

    摘要: An intake duct for an air intake system of a work vehicle is disclosed. The intake duct may generally include a body defining an air passage extending between an intake end and an outlet end. The body may further define a recessed intake at the intake end including a first side section and a second side section. Each of the first side section and the second side may define at least one side opening for directing air into the air passage. In addition, the recessed intake may include a deflector projecting outwardly from the first and second side sections. The deflector may be configured to shield the air passage from water directed towards the recessed inlet.

    摘要: A system includes a shipping container having air inlets at each end and an air outlet at a top and approximate center. The system includes two engines positioned one on each side of a center region, with two generators—each positioned between one of the engines and an end of the container. The center region includes a fuel tank and an air director. An air flow path on each side flows air in the air inlet, over the generator, over the engine, through an engine radiator, mixes the air with exhaust from the engine, and flows out the air outlet. The system maximizes an exhaust flow path length back to the air inlet to prevent exhaust gas recirculation. The system further configures the exhaust air to be heated and released at a higher location than the inlet to minimize potential exhaust gas recirculation.

    摘要: An automobile air intake system is provided that channels air from outside the automobile engine compartment to the engine. The automobile air intake system according to an embodiment of the invention includes an intake enclosure coupled to a bulkhead across the front of the engine compartment. The automobile grille, radiator, and a front portion of the hood in front of the bulkhead form a flow channel to an intake port of the intake enclosure. Aspects of the invention include a screen extending from the bulkhead to the grille for inhibiting the flow of water and particles through the flow channel. Other aspects provide an alternative air path for channeling air from the engine compartment to the intake enclosure.
