    摘要: A plasma display panel (PDP) which can reduce the cost and time of manufacturing a plasma display device, and which can improve heat transfer efficiency of a plasma display device, comprises: a transparent front substrate; a rear substrate disposed parallel to the front substrate; an electromagnetic wave shielding layer fixed on the front substrate; a plurality of discharge cells defined by barrier ribs disposed between the front substrate and the rear substrate; a plurality of address electrodes extending over the discharge cells and disposed in a given direction; a rear dielectric layer covering the address electrodes; a plurality of fluorescent layers disposed in the discharge cells; a plurality of sustaining electrode pairs extending in a direction which crosses the given direction of the address electrodes; a front dielectric layer covering the sustaining electrode pairs; and a discharge gas filling the discharge cells.

    摘要: Disclosed is a front filter attached to a front surface of a plasma display panel, the front filter comprising: an antireflection coating for preventing reflection of incident light from outside; an optical characteristic film for improving optical characteristics of incident light from the panel, by decreasing brightnesses of red (R) and green (G) rays and by increasing brightness of blue (B) rays; an EMI shielding film for shielding emission of electromagnetic wave; and an NIR blocking film for blocking near infrared rays emitted from the panel, wherein, transmittance of emitted light from the plasma display panel when the emitted light transmits the antireflection coating, the optical characteristic film, the EMI shielding film, and the NIR blocking film is determined in dependence of wavelength of the emitted light, and wherein transmittance of B rays at a wavelength of 454 nm is 50-80%, transmittance of G rays at a wavelength of 525 nm is 40-80%, transmittance of orange rays at a wavelength of 580-592 nm is 5-30%, transmittance of R rays at a wavelength of 610-650 nm is 50-80%, and transmittance of NIR at a wavelength of 850-950 nm is 1-10%.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a plasma display panel, and more particularly, to the structure of a plasma display panel. The plasma display panel according to the present invention has a NIR shielding material included in any one of an upper dielectric layer, a protection film and an upper substrate. Therefore, NIR, which is radiated from the plasma display panel to the outside, can be shielded. As a result, in accordance with the present invention, a NIR shielding film can be obviated from the front filter, the plasma display panel can be made thin and the manufacturing cost can be saved.

    摘要: A near-infrared shield according to the present invention includes a base and a near-infrared absorption layer disposed on one main surface of the base. When the near-infrared shield is irradiated from the near-infrared absorption layer side with xenon light having a wavelength of 380 nm to 1200 nm at an illuminance of 60 W/m2 (an energy density in a range of 300 nm to 400 nm) for 16 hours under a condition of BPT of 63° C. and a relative humidity of 50%, chromaticity changes Δx, Δy of transmitted light, which are shown in a chromaticity diagram of a CIE1931XYZ color system, are 0.005 or less respectively. The near-infrared shield has an excellent near-infrared shielding property and an excellent light resistance, and its near-infrared absorptivity does not deteriorate even after long-term storage.

The film for a PDP filter includes the SAN copolymer as a binder resin, and thus a change in transmittance is little under a high-temperature condition or a high-temperature and high-humidity condition, resulting in good durability and thermal stability and high transmittance in a visible light range. Further, since a general organic solvent can be used in the formation of the film, environmental pollution is reduced and the removal of a poisonous solvent is not required, thereby simplifying a process of forming the film.
