    摘要: The apparatus of present invention converts AC or DC power sources to AC or DC power loads, in a single stage, bidirectionally, employing variable, high frequency resonant circuits and power switches, to continuously vary the gain of the conversion circuit. Inrush current control, idle converter turn off, line voltage brown out protection, soft start, high pre-charge voltage generation, soft shut down, and dimming operation are inherent characteristics of the apparatus of the instant invention. A remotely configurable and operable controller may optionally be used to control the mode of conversion, the amplitude and frequency of the output voltages. The resonant circuits can be paralleled to derive multiple outputs. Multiple converter stages can be cascaded to meet the various power needs of an application such as multiple outputs and different amplitudes. Components can be eliminated for specific conversion applications. The circuits can be implemented in semiconductor packages.

    摘要: Size and weight reduction of a transformer for system interconnection is needed. Applying an SST to the transformer can reduce the size and weight. However, it is also necessary to flexibly handle a wide range of voltages to match a high-voltage system or motor, reduce switching loss of a power device used in a power circuit such as a DC/DC converter and an inverter in association with frequency increase caused by application of the SST, and achieve size reduction of a cooling structure. Further, it is necessary to boost a voltage to a system voltage and reduce the size and weight of a large current path before the voltage boosting. Thus, an LLC resonant converter structure is applied, and a multiple-connection structure is employed in each of which a converter is arranged for an input or an inverter is arranged for an output. This enables handling of various voltage ranges by various combinations of the numbers of multiple connections of the inputs and the outputs. An insulation cooling structure is provided by a wind-tunnel structure in which two input and output substrates are opposed and are connected by insulation members, and another wind-tunnel structure arranged in the downstream of the wind-tunnel structure and including the LLC resonant structure therein. The wind-tunnel structures are integrated with each other.

    摘要: A power conversion device includes: a conversion device for each phase which converts DC voltage inputted from a DC power supply, to voltage having an AC waveform to be outputted to each phase with respect to a neutral point of three-phase AC; and a control unit which controls these conversion devices. Each conversion device includes: a first conversion unit which has a DC/DC converter including an isolation transformer, and a capacitor, and which converts the inputted DC voltage to voltage containing a pulsating-current waveform corresponding to the absolute value of voltage obtained by superimposing a third-order harmonic on a fundamental wave as the AC waveform to be outputted; and a second conversion unit which has a full-bridge inverter for inverting the polarity of the voltage containing the pulsating-current waveform, per one cycle, thereby converting the voltage to voltage having the AC waveform.

    摘要: A single-phase AC/DC electric power conversion apparatus includes an indirect matrix converter having an input interface to receive a first alternating current (AC) signal and an output interface to produce a second AC signal, where the first AC signal has a grid frequency. A transformer has a primary winding and an electrically isolated and magnetically coupled secondary winding. A coupling inductor is connected in series between the output interface of the indirect matrix converter and the primary winding. An H-bridge switching arrangement is connected to the secondary winding and produces an output signal having a DC component and at least one AC component. The at least one AC component has a second order harmonic of the grid frequency. An active filter reduces the second order harmonic AC component. A modular conversion apparatus for three-phase power replicates the single-phase apparatus as a module for each phase and omits the active filter.
