摘要: A logical mapping of a plurality of access points is automatically generated. Each of the plurality of access points is plotted on a logical map. Lengths of connection lines between access points pairs are determined for each of the plurality of access points on the logical map. Connection lines are oriented in combination with adjustments to the plotted access points on the logical map to run connection lines between each of the access point pairs. Some of the access points are part of more than one access point pair as represented by more than one connection line connected to the at least one access point.

摘要: A mobile device having location services may store information pertaining to a geo-fence that is associated with a user of the mobile device and assigned to a location. The mobile device may identify a current location of the mobile device and store data pertaining to the location of the mobile device. The mobile device determines a current geo-fence state of the mobile device based on the location data in response to an internal stimuli or an external stimuli. The geo-fence state is selected from at least an inside geo-fence state in which the mobile device is deemed to be inside the geo-fence and an outside geo-fence state in which the mobile device is deemed to be outside of the geo-fence. The mobile device may notify a remote server of the current geo-fence state.

摘要: An improved system and method for defining an event based upon an object location and a user-defined zone and managing the conveyance of object location event information among computing devices where object location events are defined in terms of a condition based upon a relationship between user-defined zone information and object location information. One or more location information sources are associated with an object to provide the object location information. One or more user-defined zones are defined on a map and one or more object location events are defined. The occurrence of an object location event produces object location event information that is conveyed to users based on user identification codes. Accessibility to object location information, zone information, and object location event information is based upon an object location information access code, a zone information access code, and an object location event information access code, respectively.

摘要: Systems and methods to determine a location of a mobile device by combining a radio frequency navigation system and an inertial navigation system, where the radio frequency navigation system determines a location of the mobile device in reference to a map of radio frequency signals and the inertial navigation system based on dead reckoning the position of the mobile device based on measurements from motion sensors. When a set of successive locations determined by the radio frequency navigation system is found to have a predetermined pattern (e.g., within a minimum distance from each other, or separated by more than a maximum distance), the mobile device discards the location results from the radio frequency navigation system for the period of time, in favor of the location results from the inertial navigation system.

摘要: Disclosed are a device for recommending locations in a building using fingerprints of access points and a method using the device. The locations of access points are detected by collecting fingerprints for the access points from terminals of multiple users, the locations of stores in the building are detected by using the fingerprints and payment histories of the multiple users, and locations may be recommended to a recommendation target user based on a meta-path, using a metamap generated by integrating the locations of the access points and stores with the indoor plan of the building. Indoor positioning is enabled by detecting the locations of access points using the information obtained from the terminals of multiple users, whereby constructing infrastructure information for the access points in the building in advance may not be required.

摘要: Systems and methods for using occupant location in a building management system are provided. A plurality of wireless emitters are provided at various locations in a building. Each of the wireless emitters broadcasts a different emitter identifier. Mobile devices in the building run an application which causes the mobile devices to detect and report, to the building management system, an emitter identifier associated with a nearby wireless emitter. The building management system uses the reported emitter identifier to determine a building zone in which the mobile device is located. The building management system provides information to the mobile device based on the location of the mobile device in the building. In some embodiments, the information includes a user interface for monitoring and/or controlling the building zone in which the mobile device is located.
