Abstract: Systems and methods are provided and include a variable frequency drive configured to drive a fan motor of an HVAC system to ventilate an indoor space, the HVAC system having a cooling assembly that includes at least one of an economizer and a compressor. A controller is configured to communicate with the variable frequency drive, receive at least one signal from an occupancy sensing device, determine whether the indoor space is less than fully occupied based on the at least one signal, and control the variable frequency drive to reduce a speed of the fan motor in response to determining that the indoor space is less than fully occupied.

Abstract: A ventilation control apparatus and method are provided. The apparatus comprises a storage, a ventilation apparatus, and a processor. The storage stores a plurality of first historical sensing data corresponding to a plurality of first time intervals and an activation condition. The apparatus calculates a plurality of deviation values corresponding to the first time intervals based on the first historical sensing data. The apparatus determines an adjustment parameter based on the deviation values. The apparatus updates the activation condition based on the adjustment parameter. The apparatus transmits a first control signal corresponding to the adjustment parameter to the ventilation apparatus to instruct the ventilation apparatus to operate based on the activation condition.

Abstract: A ventilation system includes: a supply air flow path that is a flow path connecting outdoors to an indoor space; an exhaust flow path that is a flow path connecting the indoor space to the outdoors; an air supply blower that generates a flow of air to be supplied to the indoor space, the air supply blower being provided on the supply air flow path; an exhaust blower that generates a flow of air to be exhausted to the outdoors, the exhaust blower being provided on the exhaust flow path; and a control device that controls operation of the air supply blower and the exhaust blower. When a dehumidifying mode is selected which is a mode for dehumidifying the indoor space, the control device puts the indoor space under negative pressure by controlling at least one of the air supply blower and the exhaust blower.

The system includes a controller configured to respond to a call for dehumidification in the absence of a call for cooling by sequentially energizing a first compressor of the multiple compressors in a reheat mode of the first compressor, energizing a second compressor of the multiple compressors in a cooling mode of the second compressor, energizing a third compressor of the multiple compressors in a reheat mode of the third compressor initially at full capacity, and energizing a fourth compressor of the multiple compressors in a cooling mode of the fourth compressor.

Abstract: A control module configured to control operation of a damper assembly includes an air damper configured to be disposed within an air duct and movable between an open end position and a closed end position, the air duct providing conditioned air to a register boot proximate the air duct. The control module includes a control module housing that is securable to the register boot. A controller is disposed within the control module housing and is configured to generate damper position control signals, the controller providing the damper position control signals to the damper assembly via a control cable that operably couples the control module with the damper assembly. An antenna extends from the control module housing and is operably coupled to the controller, and is configured to extend through an opening formed within a wall of the register boot to be positioned exterior to the register boot.

Abstract: An apparatus and method to selectively create a heat transfer effect and sensation of cooling with fluid flow that is directed within bedding on a mattress or within the mattress or within a region between the bedding and the mattress. A programmable application is accessible on a wireless network and is programmed to provide appropriate settings to attain changes over time of the region. In response to receipt of signals indicative of fluid flow rate, temperature and duration settings, a heat transfer device carries out the heat transfer in accord with an initial one of the temperature settings for an initial one of the duration settings and then in accord with a subsequent one of the temperatures settings for a subsequent one of the duration settings. The subsequent one of the temperature settings constitutes a change in the temperature setting from the initial one of the temperature settings.
