    摘要: A system for removing dust from air (101) includes a dust removal system inlet (1011), a dust removal system outlet, and an electric field apparatus (1014). The electric field apparatus (1014) has an electric field apparatus inlet (3085), an electric field apparatus outlet (3088), a dust removal electric field cathode (3081) and a dust removal electric field anode (3082). The dust removal electric field cathode (3081) and the dust removal electric field anode (3082) are used to generate an ionization dust removal electric field. By means of the present system for removing dust from air (101), particulate matter can be effectively removed from air.

    摘要: Cyclones with electrostatically enhanced recirculation, comprising a collector cyclone and an entry for dirty gases, located upstream from a recirculator and a central exhaust channel (CEC) for exhausting cleaned gases. Cyclones are placed in series and have a recirculation line from the concentrator to the collector to recirculate part of the gas stream. Recirculator has means for applying a high voltage producing an ionizing electric field driving particles away from CEC, without significant particle deposition on recirculator walls. Current density in the recirculator field is below 0.1 mA/m.2 Average electric field is below 2×I05 V/m. Particles are driven away from CEC in the recirculator by joint action of mechanical/electrical forces, the latter deriving from particles traversing the ionized field, concentrating them in the fraction of gas stream recycled back to the collector cyclone, where a part is captured. Uses include dedusting, dry gas cleaning (for acid gases), and capturing bacteria.

    摘要: The present invention concerns an apparatus for filtering particulate matter from a gas. The apparatus comprises at least one tube with a substantially axially located ioniser structure, and a fan for propelling the gas through said at least one tube. The ioniser structure comprises a flat blade extending axially along at least a substantial part of the tube and having a saw tooth shape with a high number of sharp teeth placed regularly along the blade edges. The blade is twisted about its own longitudinal centreline in order to provide rotation for a gas stream flowing along said tube.

    摘要: An electrostatically enhanced separator (EES) provides mechanical and electrostatic separation of particles from gas stream to yield a compact and highly efficient separation system. The EES (10) may be incorporated in a collection system as well using a conventional collection device such as a cyclone collector (32), bag filter (37) or electrostatic precipitator (38). The EES (10) includes a cylindrical-walled separation chamber (12) with an inlet passage (13), a clean flow outlet (21), and a particle outlet passage (15). The inlet passage (13) and particle outlet passage (15) are both thin elongated slits which open tangentially to the cylindrical wall of the chamber for providing a substantially flush incoming flow path dispersed lengthwise along the wall.
