    Abstract: Provided is a voltage regulator having satisfactory transient response characteristics. The voltage regulator includes: a first amplifier for detecting that undershoot occurs in an output voltage; a second amplifier for detecting that overshoot occurs in the output voltage; a first constant current circuit for increasing a bias current of an error amplifier circuit by a first amount for a first time period in response to a signal determined based on one of an output signal of the first amplifier and an output signal of the second amplifier; a second constant current circuit for increasing the bias current of the error amplifier circuit by a second amount larger than the first amount for a second time period shorter than the first time period in response to a signal determined based on the output signal of the first amplifier; and a first switch circuit for pulling up a gate of an output transistor in response to a signal determined based on the output signal of the second amplifier.

    Abstract: A cutting device includes a support shaft; a first blade body which holds the support shaft; a rolling bearing which is mounted on the support shaft, and has an outer race and an inner race; a second blade body which is provided to overlap the first blade body, and is rotatably supported on the support shaft via the rolling bearing; a fixing member which is disposed on the support shaft on a side opposite to the first blade body across the rolling bearing; and a biasing member disposed between the rolling bearing and the fixing member. One of the outer race and the inner race rotates integrally with the second blade body, and the other of the outer race and the inner race is biased toward the first blade body by the biasing member.

    Abstract: Provided is an overheat detection circuit that is capable of quickly outputting an overheated state detection signal in an overheated state without outputting an unintended erroneous output caused by disturbance noise, such as momentary voltage fluctuations in the power supply. The overheat detection circuit includes: a temperature sensor; a comparison section; and a disturbance noise removal section configured to output an overheated state detection signal to an output section after a predetermined delay time has elapsed. The delay time is reduced in proportion to temperature.

    Abstract: Provided is a non-volatile semiconductor storage device which can be downsized with a simple circuit without impairing the function of an error correcting section, and a method of testing the non-volatile semiconductor storage device. An error correction circuit is configured to perform error detection and correction of merely the same number of bits as data bits, and a circuit for performing error detection and correction of check bits is omitted to downsize the circuit. A multiplexer for, in a testing state, replacing a part of the data bits read out from a storage element array with the check bits, and inputting the check bits to the error correction circuit is provided. Thus, error detection and correction of the check bits are performed to enable shipment inspection concerning the check bits as well.

    Abstract: There are provided a vibration generation device and an electronic apparatus adapted to generate a variety of vibrations corresponding to a variety of situations without making the power consumption excessively high. The vibration generation device and the electronic apparatus according to the present embodiment is provided with two vibration motors having respective eccentric weights different in weight from each other, and drives a first vibration motor having a heavier one of the eccentric weights in the case of announcing a first event, for which notice with a strong vibration is necessary or effective. In contrast, in the case of announcing the second event, for which a quick response or a response performance is required, a second vibration motor having a lighter one of the eccentric weights is driven. The first events include incoming, coming of alarm time, a dynamic or important action, motion, and so on in a game. The second events include confirmation of input operation using a touch or a press on a screen of the electronic apparatus, a minute action, motion, and so on occurring in the game. Further, the correspondence between the vibration motors and the events is made selectable.
