摘要: Method of making BTX compounds including benzene, toluene, and xylene, including feeding heavy reformate to a reactor containing a composite zeolite catalyst. The composite zeolite catalyst includes a mixture of layered mordenite (MOR-L) comprising a layered or rod-type morphology with a layer thickness less than 30 nm and ZSM-5. The MOR-L, the ZSM-5, or both include one or more impregnated metals. The method further includes producing the BTX compounds by simultaneously performing transalkylation and dealkylation of the heavy reformate in the reactor. The composite zeolite catalyst is able to simultaneously catalyze both the transalkylation and dealkylation reactions.

摘要: A detector and a method for tracking an arrival time of single particles in an ion beam are disclosed, wherein the single particles are provided as a bunch of ions by a synchrotron. Herein, the detector comprises a detector segment comprising a scintillating material, the scintillating material being designated for generating radiation upon passing of a single particle comprised by the bunch of ions through the scintillating material, wherein the scintillating material comprises a plurality of scintillating fibers, the scintillating fibers being provided as a fiber layer, wherein the fiber layer is located perpendicularly with respect to a direction of the incident ion beam; at least one detector element, the detector element being designated for generating a detector signal from the radiation; and at least one evaluation device, the evaluation device being designated for determining information about the single particles from the detector signals provided by the at least one detector element.

摘要: A PET imaging device for observing a brain includes a hollow three-dimensional structure with a shape capable of housing a head. The PET imaging device comprising multiple independent gamma ray detection modules that together form a structure capable of surrounding the head, said detection modules comprise continuous scintillation crystal blocks, wherein “continuous” means that the crystal blocks can be continuous in one or in two directions, each of the continuous scintillation crystal blocks has a polygonal main cross-section, and said structure is an elongated structure having a major axis in a direction corresponding to the front-nape direction and a shorter axis in a direction corresponding to a straight line joining ears on the head. The continuous scintillation crystal blocks are positioned adjacent to fit laterally in an exact manner with each other throughout their entire thickness, building a mosaic, without gaps between adjacent crystal blocks and without overlapping each other.

摘要: The invention relates to a hybrid medical PET-SPECT/MR imaging device comprising at least one scintillating crystal and at least one module for detecting radiation which contains at least one matrix of photodetectors and an electronics section, such that said module has a mechanical structure, the external, internal or both surfaces of which are divided into at least two sections, of which at least one is coated in graphene, and the rest in non-ferromagnetic conductive material, or all the sections are coated in graphene, and such that the coating forms a Faraday cage. The invention also relates to a shielding against radiofrequency for a medical imaging device, comprising a graphene coating, which is continuous or in bands, on all the faces of the mechanical structure of the detection module of the device, or a graphene coating, continuous or in bands, on at least one face, combined with a coating of non-ferromagnetic conductive materials on the remaining faces, and said shielding forming a Faraday cage.

The curtain comprises two textile layers, each having a combination of non-woven textile material and woven textile material, subjected to a fire-proofing treatment; an inner layer sandwiched between the textile layers and formed by sound insulation wool; and a cover layer adjacent to the outer side of one of the textile layers, formed by a metal selected from the group consisting of aluminum and copper. The curtain as a whole has a total thickness between 0.5 cm and 3 cm.

摘要: The invention relates to a biohybrid for the use thereof in the regeneration of neural tracts, comprising an implantable tubular hybrid structure which is degradable and biocompatible and characterized in that it comprises three layers of different porosity: an inner layer a), an intermediate layer b) and an outer layer c), with uninterrupted connection among them, the three layers consisting of the same porous hydrogel based on cross-linked hyaluronic acid, a biohybrid comprising the hybrid tubular structure described, which can contain a fibrous material, preferably poly-L-lactic acid, to a method for producing said tubular hybrid structure and said biohybrid, and to the use of same for regenerating neural tracts in diseases that affect the central nervous system, preferably Parkinson's disease.

摘要: This disclosure describes an imaging radiation detection module with novel configuration of the scintillator sensor allowing for simultaneous optimization of the two key parameters: detection efficiency and spatial resolution, that typically cannot be achieved. The disclosed device is also improving response uniformity across the whole detector module, and especially in the edge regions. This is achieved by constructing the scintillation modules as hybrid structures with continuous (also referred to as monolithic) scintillator plate(s) and pixellated scintillator array(s) that are optically coupled to each other and to the photodetector. There are two basic embodiments of the novel hybrid structure: (1) the monolithic scintillator plate is at the entrance for the incoming radiation, preferably gamma rays, and the pixellated array placed behind the plate, all in optical contact with the photodetector, (2) the order of the scintillator components is reversed with the pixellated scintillation plate placed in front of the monolithic plate.

摘要: The invention relates to a device that can be used to transfer power wirelessly, which is based on at least two resonators comprising photonic crystals defined by multiple layers of two different materials disposed concentrically and producing a circular sandwich-type structure. In one of the preferred embodiments of the device of the invention, the photonic crystals of each resonator of the device are disposed concentrically, which is the preferred configuration for each resonator, although different configurations can be used in alternative embodiments in which the photonic crystals are disposed radially. The outside radius of each resonator can be defined according to various parameters, with the parameter referring to the wavelength of the working frequency being one of the preferred parameters when establishing the outside radius.
