    Abstract: A collapsible lampshade frame has an upper ring, a lower ring and multiple ribs. The upper ring has a central mounting bracket, multiple radial supports and an outer ring. Each radial support has a bottom and multiple wavy recesses. The wavy recesses are formed on the bottom of the radial supports. Each rib has a distal end and a fork. The fork is formed in the distal end and engages the wavy recesses on the radial supports. When the forks are disengaged from the wavy recesses, the ribs can be pivoted so the frame occupies a small volume.

    Abstract: A collapsible lampshade frame has an upper ring, a lower ring, multiple U-shaped ribs and multiple clips. The ribs have two longitudinal legs and a transverse leg. The transverse leg is formed between the longitudinal legs. The longitudinal legs respectively have a through hole, and the lower ring passes through the through hole. The clips are mounted on the upper ring and the transverse legs of the ribs to attach the ribs to the upper ring. When the clips are detached from the upper ring and the ribs, the ribs can be folded so the frame occupies a small volume.

    Abstract: A method of producing semiconductor materials and devices that incorporate the semiconductor materials are provided. In particular, a method is provided of producing a semiconductor material, such as a III-V semiconductor, on a spinel substrate using a sacrificial buffer layer, and devices such as photovoltaic cells that incorporate the semiconductor materials. The sacrificial buffer material and semiconductor materials may be deposited using lattice-matching epitaxy or coincident site lattice-matching epitaxy, resulting in a close degree of lattice matching between the substrate material and deposited material for a wide variety of material compositions. The sacrificial buffer layer may be dissolved using an epitaxial liftoff technique in order to separate the semiconductor device from the spinel substrate, and the spinel substrate may be reused in the subsequent fabrication of other semiconductor devices. The low-defect density semiconductor materials produced using this method result in the enhanced performance of the semiconductor devices that incorporate the semiconductor materials.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a chromatic confocal microscopic system in which two conjugate fiber modules are spatially configured and employed to conduct a detecting light from a light source and an object light reflected from an object, respectively. By means of the two spatially corresponding fiber modules, the detecting light is projected on the object and the reflected light from the object is entered into the other fiber module. Since each fiber of the fiber module is capable of filtering out the unfocused light and stray lights and allowing the focused light pass therethrough a line slit, thereby minimizing potential interference from light cross talk caused by the overlapped light spots, not only can the present invention obtain the information of surface profile of the object with high vertical measurement resolution, but also achieve high lateral resolution during confocal measurement.
