    摘要: An electrolyte membrane includes inorganic oxide particles having proton conductivity, and an organic resin or an inorganic matrix component. The inorganic oxide particles having proton conductivity preferably comprise hydrated antimony oxide particles represented by the following formula (1) and have an average particle diameter of 5 to 50 nm, and the content of the hydrated antimony oxide particles is preferably in the range of 5 to 80% by weight in terms of an oxide (Sb2O5); Sb2O5.nH2O  (1) wherein n is 0.1 to 5. The electrolyte membrane provides a fuel cell which exhibits high cell performance even after prolonged operation and/or at high operating temperatures.

    摘要: A photovoltaic cell includes a first substrate having on its surface a first electrode layer having on its surface a semiconductor film on which a photosensitizer is adsorbed, and a second substrate having on its surface a second electrode layer. The first and second substrates are arranged so that the first electrode layer overlaid with the semiconductor film and the second electrode layer are opposite each other with an electrolyte disposed therebetween. Spacer particles are interposed between the semiconductor film and the second electrode layer, and at least one of the electrode-layer-having substrates is transparent. A coating liquid for forming the semiconductor film includes both a component for forming the semiconductor film as well as the spacer particles, dispersed in a dispersion medium.

    摘要: A coating liquid for forming a silica-containing film with a low-dielectric constant, which enables the formation of a low-density film having a dielectric constant as low as 3 or less and being excellent not only in resistance of oxygen plasma and in process adaptation but also in adhesion to a substrate and in film strength, is provided. A substrate coated with the silica-containing film having the above characteristics, which is obtained by the use of the above coating liquid, is further provided. The coating liquid for forming a silica-containing film with a low-dielectric constant comprises a polymer composition mainly constituted by (i) a hydrolyzate of at least one alkoxysilane represented by the following formula (I) and/or at least one halogenated silane represented by the following formula (II), and (ii) a readily decomposable resin, XnSi(OR)4−n  (I) XnSiX′4−n  (II) wherein X represents a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom, an unfluorinated or fluorinated alkyl group of 1 to 8 carbon atoms, an aryl group or a vinyl group; R represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group of 1 to 8 carbon atoms, an aryl group or a vinyl group; X′ represents a halogen atom; and n is an integer of 0 to 3.

    摘要: Disclosed is a thin film-forming apparatus comprising a coating liquid feed means 6 for feeding a thin film-forming coating liquid onto a surface of a transfer roll 2, a transfer means 4 including the transfer roll 2 a surface of which is coated with the thin film-forming coating liquid fed from the coating liquid feed means to form a transfer thin film 8, and a substrate conveying means 16 for continuously conveying a substrate 9 under the transfer roll, a surface of said substrate 9 to be provided with a thin film, wherein the transfer means is so fabricated that the transfer roll surface having the transfer thin film thereon is closely contacted with the surface of the substrate conveyed by the substrate conveying means, to transfer the transfer thin film formed on the transfer roll surface to the substrate surface. Also disclosed is a thin film-forming method using the thin film-forming apparatus. By the apparatus and the method, formation of a planar thin film on a substrate such as a semiconductor wafer can be carried out continuously, stably and at a low cost, and quality lowering of the thin film and property change thereof with time caused by adherence of impurities to the thin film or contamination of the thin film with impurities are avoidable. Moreover, the apparatus and the method are applicable to large-sized substrates.

    摘要: In accordance with the present invention, there are provided coating liquids for forming conductive coatings, which comprise (i) a zirconium oxysalt, (ii) a conductive substance and, if necessary, (iii) at least one member selected from non-sedimentary silica dispersion and silicon alkoxide or its derivative. The coating liquids, when coated on substrates, form thereon transparent conductive coatings which are excellent in transparency, scratch resistance, permanence properties and adhesion to the substrates and, moreover, excellent in antistatic effect. In particular, when the coating liquids for forming conductive coatings mentioned above are coated by the spray method on appropriate substrates followed by drying and/or heating, there are obtained face plates for display devices, which have excellent regular reflection reducing effect (non-glare) and antistatic effect.

A wood powder-containing resin molded article 1 is made of a thermoplastic resin containing wood powder, and includes a non-foamed layer 2 formed on a surface and a foamed layer 3 formed in an inner portion. The foamed layer 3 includes, in order from a side close to the surface, a first foamed layer 3a, a second foamed layer 3b having cells with a smaller average pore size than those of the first foamed layer 3a, and a third foamed layer 3c having cells with a larger average pore size than those of the first foamed layer 3a. The wood powder-containing resin molded article 1 contains a perfuming component.
