On a flexible printed circuit board, formed are electric bonding pads, which are to be electrically connected with the substrate of the actuator elements. A semi-spherical bump including a conductive core and a conductive sealant is formed on each of pads. The actuator elements having substrate is made to face the flexible printed circuit board, and heated under pressure to thereby electrically bond the signal electrodes (at their electric bonding area) to the corresponding bumps. Thus bonded, there exists a gap around the core, and it allows the actuator area of the signal electrode to act completely free, not interfered with any other.

An intake air control system of a V-type internal combustion engine having cylinder axes formed in a V-shape with a crankshaft provided therebetween is provided. An operation input shaft driven by an operator's input and an operation input shaft turning angle sensor that detects a turning angle of the operation input shaft are also provided. A throttle body having a throttle valve is formed with an intake passage for each of the cylinders. The operation input shaft is located between valve shafts of an opposing pair of throttle valves that are located on opposing bank portions of the V-type internal combustion engine, when viewed from the direction of the crankshaft. The operation input shaft is disposed separately from the throttle valve shafts and the operation input shaft turning angle sensor is provided at a shaft end of the operation input shaft.

Disclosed is a photocatalyst which is excited when irradiated with visible light and exhibits high photocatalytic activity stably. This photocatalyst has a white hue with little yellow tint. Specifically, titanium oxide particles and a halogenated platinum compound are heated and mixed in a liquid medium, so that the surfaces of the titanium oxide particles are loaded with the halogenated platinum compound; then the pH of the liquid medium is adjusted to 5 or less; and after that, the liquid medium is neutralized if necessary. By such a process, there can be produced a photocatalyst having a specific surface area of 10-100 m2/g, wherein the surfaces of the titanium oxide particles are loaded with the halogenated platinum compound and the b* value of the powder color according to the Hunter color system is not more than 6.

In an engine having a V type cylinder head configuration, the electric throttle management apparatus controls the throttle valves of one cylinder bank of the cylinder bank pair, while the mechanical throttle management apparatus controls the throttle valves of the other cylinder bank.

Before a wafer, which is not yet thermally processed, is transferred to the wafer boat, a height position of the corresponding ring member is obtained. By comparing a difference between the normal height position of the ring member and the height position of the ring member before the wafer is transported, with a threshold value, whether to transfer the wafer by the wafer transfer mechanism to the wafer boat can be judged.
