    摘要: In a network and a method for evaluating medical data, a disposable biochip is provided which contains a patient sample with multiple biomolecular markers, as well as a biochip identifier which characterizes the biochip. The biochip is inserted into a point of care test device, which reads the biochip identifier. The point of care test device transmits the data characterizing the biochip to a remote server having access to a data bank in which a large number of measurement protocols are stored, and which selects one of the measurement protocols for testing the sample based on the transmitted data characterizing the biochip. The measurement protocol is transmitted back to the point of care test device via the data link, where the sample is tested using the measurement protocol. The test results are evaluated in an expert system, and a diagnostic result is displayed at the point of care test device.

    摘要: An apparatus for determining a position of a medical instrument within a patient receiving zone of a magnetic resonance tomography device is provided. The apparatus includes a sensor and a computing and control device. The sensor is arranged on or in the medical instrument, includes at least one magnetic field sensor for obtaining measured values of a magnetic flux density, and may be connected to the computing and control device for data transfer purposes. The computing and control device is embodied to control magnetic fields of the magnetic resonance tomography device and to determine the position of the medical instrument. The measured values of the at least one magnetic field sensor and control signals for controlling the magnetic fields of the magnetic resonance tomography device are included in the determination of the position of the medical instrument.

    摘要: A system and method of evaluating the effectiveness of antiangionetic therapy is described. A patient or test animal is treated with an antiangionetic substance. Magnetic resonance imaging data is obtained prior to and subsequent to the treatment. The parameters of the imaging process are configured so that, by administering a intravascular contrast agent, the relative size of the microvascular and the total vascular volumes in a region of interest may be obtained, so as to form a vascular size index. The value of the vascular size index and other pharmacokinetic data obtained by the administration of a diffusible contrast agent are used to assess the efficacy of the treatment or the antiangionetic substance being studied.

    摘要: A contrast agent is disclosed for imaging methods. In at least one embodiment the contrast agent includes a construct including i) at least two copies of a substrate for at least one tumor-specific protease, and ii) at least one linker having at least one recognition site for at least one tumor-specific protease, wherein a hyperpolarization site is located at the N and/or C terminus of the substrate, and wherein the linker is configured such that the hydrophobic ends of the substrate interact and form a central core by means of noncovalent interactions with the lipophilic residues, and the contrast agent together with a parahydrogen metal template for use in an imaging method for diagnosing a tumor. At least one embodiment of the invention further relates to a method for imaging a tumor tissue, wherein the above-described contrast agent accumulated in a tumor tissue is imaged using a suitable imaging method after hyperpolarization by way of contact with a parahydrogen metal template, and also to a method for imaging a tumor tissue in a patient, wherein a) a contrast agent as described above is administered to a patient, b) a parahydrogen metal template is administered to the patient, and c) the presence of a tumor is depicted using an imaging method.
