    摘要: A mechanism is provided for restraining and releasing an actuator suspension assembly in a magnetic disk device which is in a retracted position. In a magnetic disk device, according to one embodiment, a magnetic disk 4a is formed of an electrically conductive material and there is disposed a latch member 50 which holds an eddy-current magnet at one end thereof and is provided with a latching portion at an opposite end thereof. An actuator suspension assembly 8 lies in a retracted position and is restrained at a frame engaging portion 23 thereof by means of the latch member. The eddy current magnet is disposed in such a manner that a magnetic pole thereof is opposed to a surface of the magnetic disk at a position close to the disk surface. When the magnetic disk is rotated, an eddy-current is generated and a force is exerted on the eddy-current magnet, so that the latch member turns and releases the actuator suspension assembly.

    摘要: Provided is a low-cost method for easily forming a transparent conductive pattern that has a low electrical resistance and high transparency, and that is highly invisible to the eye. The method for forming a transparent conductive layer pattern includes the steps of (1) detachably forming a transparent conductive layer on a substrate; (2) then forming, on a support, a negative-patterned heat-sensitive adhesive image; (3) bonding the substrate to the support so that the transparent conductive layer and the heat-sensitive adhesive layer are in close contact with each other; (4) forming a pattern of the transparent conductive layer on the substrate by detaching the support from the substrate to transfer a portion of the transparent conductive layer, the portion being in close contact with the heat-sensitive adhesive layer, to the heat-sensitive adhesive layer; and (5) fixing the transparent conductive layer on the substrate by applying a coating material for a protective layer onto a front surface of the substrate on which the pattern of the transparent conductive layer is formed and impregnating the transparent conductive layer with the coating material.

    摘要: An optical pickup includes a moving base moved in a radial direction of a disk-like recording medium mounted on a disk table, and an objective lens drive device disposed on the base and including an objective lens. The drive device includes a fixed block fixed to the base, a movable block including the lens and a lens holder and moved in focusing and tracking directions, supporting springs connecting the fixed and movable blocks, focusing magnets moving the movable block in the focusing direction, tracking magnets moving the movable block in the tracking direction and each having two magnetized poles, focusing coils facing the focusing magnets, and tracking coils facing the tracking magnets and spaced apart in the tracking direction. The north and south poles of the tracking magnet are adjacent in the tracking direction. The boundary between the poles is formed by a line segment not being one straight line.
