摘要： Provided is an optical semiconductor device including: an active layer having at least one quantum well layer and at least one barrier layer; a clad layer formed adjacent to the active layer; and a tunneling barrier layer formed between the active layer and the clad layer to be connected to the quantum well layer and formed of a material having a band-gap energy larger than the barrier layer, whereby it is possible to improve the drive characteristics at a high temperature and a high drive current by increasing a confinement effect of carriers such as electrons and holes in the active layer.

摘要： A thin film transistor array substrate and a fabricating method are disclosed. A gate line and a data line cross each other and a thin film transistor (TFT) is provided at the intersection between the gate and data lines. A protective film covers the data line and the thin film transistor and has a contact hole exposing a drain electrode of the TFT. A pixel electrode is connected, via the contact hole, to the drain electrode of the TFT. A storage capacitor includes a gate insulating film between the pixel electrode and the gate line and/or a common line. Some or all of the protective film within the storage capacitor is removed such that the storage capacitor contains no protective film or a layer of protective film that is thinner than the portion covering the TFT.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a flyback converter with a synchronous rectifier which is applied to a power supply of a portable computer such as a notebook PC. The flyback converter is operated in a critical conduction mode to turn on/off a main switch at a zero crossing point of an output voltage. The flyback converter is also adapted to supply a driving voltage to a synchronous switch using the output voltage. Therefore, there is no need for a secondary auxiliary coil of a transformer and for a Schottky diode to be connected in parallel with the synchronous switch, resulting in simplification in circuit design.

摘要： An air conditioner comprises: at least one outdoor unit having a compressor and an outdoor heat exchanger; an air process unit including a heat exchanger connected to the outdoor unit by a refrigerant pipe, in which the air is heat exchanged, and a blower fan blowing the heat exchanged air; and a duct having one side connected to the air process unit and another side connected to a plurality of rooms, and introducing to the room, the air blown after heat exchange. Accordingly, the refrigerant pipe is shortened, which reduces a pressure loss and a head loss. Also, oil discharged outside of the compressor together with the compressor refrigerant is easily recovered, and the amount of accumulated refrigerant is reduced, thereby reducing the risk of suffocation due to leakage of a refrigerant.

摘要： The present invention relates to a demodulation method for enhancing decoding performance of information bits in a constant-amplitude multi-code biorthogonal modulation communication system, which performs encoding to cause the level of a transmission symbol to be constant. In the demodulation method of the present invention, a demodulator demodulates the received signal, the demodulator having four blocks. C (c≦2k, k is the number of information bits) bit streams with higher correlation values in descending order are selected and combined among demodulated bit streams to establish c4 bit stream candidates. A parity check is performed with respect to the c4 bit stream candidates, a candidate group having a maximal sum of correlation values is selected among candidate groups in which any error is not generated at the parity check. A bit stream corresponding to the selected candidate group is determined to be an output of a receiver. If a hypothesis in which any error is not generated does not exist, a bit stream determined using a maximum correlation value with respect to each of the blocks is output. According to the present invention, there is an advantage in that an error in reception bits can be detected or corrected, thus improving reception performance.
