    摘要: Relatively heavy and relatively light lube chargestocks are dewaxed in two parallel, separate reactors. The reactor used for dewaxing the relatively light chargestock contains a crystallize zeolite having pore openings defined by: (1) a ratio of sorption of n-hexane to o-xylene, on a volume percent basis, of greater than 3, which sorption is determined at a P/P.sub.o of 0.1 and at a temperature of 50.degree. C. for n-hexane and 80.degree. C. for o-xylene and (2) by the ability of selectively cracking 3-methylpentane (3MP) in preference to the doubly branched 2,3-dimethylbutane (DMB) at 1000.degree. F. and 1 atmosphere pressure from a 1/1/1 weight ratio mixture of n-hexane/3-methyl-pentane/2,3-dimethylbutane, with the ratio of rate constants k.sub.3MP /k.sub.DMB determined at a temperature of 1000.degree. F. being in excess of about 2, e.g., natural and synthetic ferrierite, ZSM-22, ZSM-23, ZSM-35 and mixtures thereof. The reactor used for dewaxing the relatively heavy chargestock contains a crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite having pore openings defined by: (1) a ratio of sorption of n-hexane to o-xylene, on a volume percent basis, or less than 3, which sorption is determined at a P/P.sub.o of 0.1 and at a temperature of 50.degree. C. for n-hexane and 80.degree. C. for o-xylene, (2) the abiilty of selectively cracking 3-methylpentane (3MP) in preference to the doubly branched 2,3-dimethylbutane (DMB) at 1000.degree. F. and 1 atmosphere pressure from a 1/1/1 weight ratio mixture of n-hexane/3-methyl-pentane/2,3-dimethylbutane, with the ratio of rate constants k.sub.3MP /K.sub.DMB determined at a temperature of 1000.degree. F. being less than about 2, and (3) a Constraint Index value of greater than about 1, e.g., ZSM-5, ZSM-11, ZSM-5/ZSM-11 intermediate and mixtures thereof.

    摘要: A method is disclosed for the conversion of synthesis gas to a liquid hydrocarbon product having a boiling range of less than 400.degree. F. at a 90% overhead utilizing a novel catalyst prepared from a water-insoluble organic iron compound. The novel method involves contacting synthesis gas with a single particle catalyst containing iron, a crystalline acidic aluminosilicate zeolite having a silica-to-alumina ratio of at least 12, a pore size greater than about 5 Angstrom units, and a constraint index of about 1 to 12, and a matrix. The catalyst does not contain promoters.

    摘要: A catalytic process is provided for cracking a hydrocarbon charge stock containing aromatic nuclei components and non-aromatic nuclei components which involves contacting such chargestock with a catalyst composition having an alkali metal content less than about 1.5 weight percent and containing a mixture of faujasite and mordenite in which contacting takes place under catalytic cracking conditions of such severity that the conversion level exceeds that attributable to conversion of the non-aromatic nuclei portion of the chargestock. Under such conditions, the coke yield is substantially lower than would be obtained with the same catalyst in the absence of mordenite at the same level of conversion.
