In a method of manufacturing an anti-slipping pad, a braid mainly serves as a central main structure. A shaped underlying layer serving as a base, and a soft paste-like foaming paste of a surface layer, which is not shaped, are fused by high temperature into an integrally covered sandwich structure. The method comprises the steps of: leveling baking, laminating transporting, showering foaming, foaming shaping and cooling completing so that the braid is clamped between the foaming shaped foaming paste and the underlying layer to strengthen the overall anti-slipping pad structure and to help the process advancing and property enhancing of the products, such as cabinet pads, place mats and the like.

A method for selecting a viscoelastic plastic interlayer including two outer layers and a central layer. The interlayer is for incorporation between two glass sheets of a glazing unit. The method of selection includes providing first and second components respectively as the central layer and the outer layers, and measuring the shear modulus G′ of the first and second components. The material of the second component is selected only if G′ is a certain value at a specific temperature and frequency range. The thickness h of the first component is set so that h is a specific value and so that g=G′/h is within a specific range of values at a specific temperature and frequency range. The method optimizes the damping of the second and third natural frequencies of a vehicle windshield without weighing down the windshield.

The clear plastic sheet protects the windshield from rocks that cause breaks, scratches and pitting. The optical matching material is a gel which increases the protection to the windshield and allows for variations in the shapes of windshields for other vehicles.
