Abstract: A brake ECU (abnormality detection device) includes: an operating amount obtaining portion configured to obtain a measurement value of a stroke; a hydraulic pressure obtaining portion configured to obtain a measurement value of a reaction force hydraulic pressure having a mutual relationship with respect to the stroke; an operation direction determining portion configured to determine directions of operation of outputs from a stroke sensor and a pressure sensor; a failure detection range switching portion configured to switch the failure detection range for detecting failures of a hydraulic pressure braking force generating device in accordance with the direction of operation; and a failure determining portion configured to determine the failure of the hydraulic pressure braking force generating device from the failure detection range switched by the failure detection range switching portion, the measurement value of the stroke, and the measurement value of the reaction force hydraulic pressure.

The electric brake system includes a sensor part including at least three sensors among a motor position sensor MPS configured to measure a position of a motor, an acceleration sensor configured to measure a longitudinal acceleration of a vehicle, a wheel speed sensor configured to measure a wheel speed of the vehicle, and a pressure sensor configured to measure a brake hydraulic pressure of a wheel; and a controller configured to receive measured results from the at least three sensors among the motor position sensor MPS, the acceleration sensor, the wheel speed sensor, and the pressure sensor and determine that a sensor fails, which outputs a brake hydraulic pressure having a largest deviation among three or more brake hydraulic pressures that are estimated or measured from the at least three sensors.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a vehicular control device including a plurality of ECUs connected to each other through an in-vehicle network. The vehicular control device includes a first control device that controls an electrical component and a second control device connected to the first control device through an in-vehicle network. In a case where an operation switch of the electrical component in the first control device is fixed in an on-state and an ignition key is off, data transmission from the first control device to the second control device is stopped, or the first control device is set to a reception-only mode, and thus the second control device is prevented from operating due to a wake-up function.

Abstract: A vehicle traveling control apparatus comprises abnormality monitoring means for determining whether or not a driver of a vehicle is in an abnormal state where the driver loses an ability to drive the vehicle, and decelerating means for decelerating the vehicle to automatically stop the vehicle after a conclusive abnormality determination time point which is a time point when the abnormality monitoring means finalizes the determination that the driver is in the abnormal state. The decelerating means is configured to prohibit the deceleration of the vehicle when the vehicle is in the deceleration prohibition situation after the conclusive abnormality determination time point.

Abstract: A brake system comprises a first electrohydraulic open-loop and closed-loop control unit. The first electrohydraulic control unit comprises a master brake cylinder actuatable by a brake pedal; a first electrically controllable pressure-providing device; and an electrically controllable pressure-modulating device sets wheel-specific brake pressures for the wheel brakes. The electrically controllable pressure-modulating device has at least one electrically actuatable inlet valve for each wheel brake. A first pressure-medium reservoir for supplying the first electrohydraulic control unit with pressure medium is arranged on the first electrohydraulic control unit. The brake system also comprises a second electrohydraulic open-loop and closed-loop control unit, which comprises a second electrically controllable pressure-providing device for actuating at least some of the wheel brakes and electrically actuatable valves. A second pressure-medium reservoir for supplying the second electrohydraulic control unit with pressure medium is provided, the second pressure-medium reservoir being arranged on the second electrohydraulic control unit.
