摘要: A method for controlling a light pattern provided by an automotive lighting device of an automotive vehicle. The method includes providing a road profile, extracting road features from the road profile, dividing the matrix arrangement in row groups, assigning a different shifting value for each row group, each shifting value depending on the road features and dividing each row group in at least a first portion and a second portion. Each portion includes at least a boundary pixel which is in contact with the boundary pixel of an adjacent portion. The method further includes modifying the width of the first portion and the width of the second portion by shifting the position of the boundary pixels in each row group according to the corresponding shifting value and interpolating the luminous intensity values of the pixels belonging to the first and second portion.

摘要: A motor-vehicle lighting device including a plurality of primary optical elements, intermediate lenses, and a curved projecting lens. Each primary optical element has a curved exit refracting surface and comprises a plurality of rectangular light guides that are each intended to interact with one light-emitting diode one laser. Each intermediate lens is placed between an exit refracting surface of the primary optical element and the projecting lens. Each intermediate lens is configured to distribute and concentrate the radiation issued from an exit refracting surface of the element over and onto the projecting lens. The lighting device is configured so as to project the diode radiation entering into the light guides and exiting via the projecting lens in the form of luminous pixels, or luminous strips, the light intensity of each of which is controlled despite the curvature of the projecting lens.

The light distribution method includes: obtaining data indicative of a state in front of a vehicle by the on-board camera; computing one or more of: attributes of an object in front of the vehicle; attributes of a vehicle ahead; a speed of the vehicle ahead; a distance between vehicles; brightness of the object; and a road shape; determining a light distribution pattern; determining a control amount indicative of at least one of an ON or OFF state of each of the light emitting elements and an applied power to each of the light emitting elements according to the light distribution pattern determined; and controlling driving of the adaptive driving beam headlamp system based on the control amount determined.

摘要: There is provided a lighting device arranged to produce a controllable light beam for illuminating a scene. The device comprises an addressable spatial light modulator arranged to provide a selectable phase delay distribution to a beam of incident light. The device further comprises Fourier optics arranged to receive phase-modulated light from the spatial light modulator and form a light distribution. The device further comprises projection optics arranged to project the light distribution to form a pattern of illumination as said controllable light beam.
