摘要: In one embodiment, a method may include receiving, by a device, over a network, an order from a device of a user, the order including information indicating a current location of the user. The method may include determining, by the device, a geographical relationship between the current location and a plurality of restaurant locations, determining, by the device, a future pick-up time for the order based on the determined geographical relationship and/or traffic delays, determining, by the device, that a current time respective to the future pick-up time is within a threshold time period to the future pick-up time, and causing, by the device, a notification to be delivered to the restaurant, the notification including an indication that the received order is to be prepared.

摘要: In some examples, a computing device may receive, from a plurality of merchant devices associated with a plurality of merchants, respectively, electronic communications indicating pickup locations associated with the respective merchants. The computing device may access map information to determine a group of the respective pickup locations within a threshold distance of each other, the group of respective pickup locations corresponding to a group of the merchants. The computing device may send, to a buyer device, based at least on the pickup locations determined to be within the threshold distance of each other, merchant information that causes, at least in part, an application on the buyer device to present a user interface including information about the group of merchants, the information about the group of merchants including an indication that items ordered from the merchants in the group of merchants are available for combined delivery.

摘要: A geolocationing system and method for providing awareness in a multi-space environment, such as a hospitality environment or educational environment, are presented. In one embodiment of the geolocationing system, an array of gateway devices is provided. Each gateway device includes a gateway device identification providing an accurately-known fixed location within the multi-space environment. Each gateway device includes a wireless transceiver that receives a beacon signal from a proximate wireless-enabled personal locator device. The gateway devices, in turn, send gateway signals to a server, which determines estimated location of the wireless-enabled personal locator device with transmitted signal strength modeling.

摘要: Systems and methods for facilitating intercom communication for one or more quick-service restaurant drive-throughs are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: capture sound from a customer placing an order; generate order information signals that represent the captured sound; encode signals to form order data packets; transmit the order data packets to a base station through a single pair of wires that is also used to provide power; decode information from the order data packets; and generate order sound based on the decoded information, such that the generated order sound is audible to a staff member of the quick service restaurant through a headset.

摘要: A computer-implemented method for scheduling processing of an order for goods at a provider location obtains an arrival estimate for when a user associated with the order is expected to arrive at the provider location and uses the arrival estimate to schedule processing of the order. Processing may be scheduled so that completion of order processing is expected to substantially coincide with arrival of the user at the provider location. The method may also obtain an order completion estimate for when processing of the order is expected to be completed and use both the arrival estimate and the order completion estimate to schedule processing of the order. The method may update one or both of the arrival estimate and the order completion estimate. The method may be executed by a networked mobile wireless telecommunication computing device of the user, or by a data processing system associated with the provider.

摘要: A system and method for identifying a customer's location at a business and provide notification to a company representative upon arrival of the customer at the business location. Real-time location determinations for the customer and customer location tracking can be provided. One or more wireless beacons communicate with the customer's electronic device. The beacons provide the system with real-time data about the customer's whereabouts, allowing for the confirmation and tracking of the customer at the location. A first non-limiting example of use, include a company that provides food and beverage allowing the customer to place an order for food and beverages on their electronic device and having the order delivered to the person at their current location as determined by the system. Another non-limiting example includes a company using the notification system to have assigned staff members notified of the customer's arrival.
