摘要: The present disclosure provides methods for producing hydrocarbon compounds, which may comprise directing a feed stream comprising methane (CH4) and an oxidizing agent into an oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) unit to generate from at least a portion of the CH4 and the oxidizing agent an OCM effluent comprising the hydrocarbon compounds. A portion of the OCM effluent may be directed into a recycle loop that comprises (i) a hydrogenation unit that hydrogenates at least a portion of unsaturated hydrocarbons from the additional portion of the OCM effluent, and (ii) a methanation unit that reacts hydrogen with carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide from the additional portion of the OCM effluent in a methanation reaction to form CH4. The recycle loop may output a recycle stream comprising the CH4 generated by the methanation unit. At least a portion of the recycle stream may be directed into the OCM unit.

摘要: The present invention provides low profile, thick (“stubby”) longitudinal fins having a cross section which is a parallelogram, trapezoid or a triangle extending from 10% to 100% of a coil pass and comprising from 3 to 45 weight % of a coil in a radiant section of a furnace for thermally cracking one or more of paraffins and naphtha. The fins provide an additional surface through which heat may be transferred to the coil making the coil more efficient reducing greenhouse emissions.

摘要: A steam cracking process for converting hydrocarbons into smaller hydrocarbons, particularly olefins, in a tube reactor comprising a convection section, a cross-over section, and a radiant section. The process includes heating the fluid mixture inside the tube to a temperature at the end of the convection section where significant cracking occurs in the cross-over section. The high convection section and cross-over section temperatures allow for lower tube wall temperature in the radiant section resulting in less coke deposition on the inner wall of the tube, and hence extended run-lengths between adjacent decoking sessions.

摘要: A plant for producing ethylene having a reactor to effect oxidative coupling of methane, a work-up unit connected to the reactor to separate a first material stream produced by the reactor into a C1− material stream and an ethylene product stream and a separation unit connected to the work-up unit to separate the C1− material stream into a hydrogen-rich product stream and a hydrogen-lean residual gas stream. The plant also includes a steam cracker to produce (5) for producing an olefin-containing and hydrogen-containing crude gas stream. The steam cracker is connected to the work-up unit that separates the crude gas stream along with the first material stream into the C1− material stream and the ethylene product stream. A portion of the residual gas stream is recycled to the reactor. A process for producing ethylene using the plant is also described.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing hydrocarbon products which comprises preparing a hydrocarbon stream (C4) which predominantly comprises branched and unbranched hydrocarbons each having four carbon atoms. A first and a second partial stream (i-C4, n-C4) are obtained from this stream (C4), the first partial stream (i-C4) predominantly comprising branched hydrocarbons with four carbon atoms and the second partial stream (n-C4) predominantly comprising unbranched hydrocarbons with four carbon atoms. The method further comprises the steam cracking of at least part of the first partial stream (i-C4) at a first, higher cracking severity and at least part of the second partial stream (n-C4), at a second, lower, cracking severity.

摘要: The present invention relates to method of producing aromatics and light olefins from a hydrocarbon feedstock comprising the steps of: (a) subjecting the hydrocarbon feedstock to a solvent extraction process in a solvent extraction unit; (b) separating from the solvent extracted hydrocarbon feedstock obtained in step (a) a raffinate fraction comprising paraffins and a fraction comprising aromatics and naphtenes; (c) converting said fraction comprising aromatics and naphtenes in a hydrocracking unit and separating into a high content aromatics fraction and a stream high in light paraffins; (d) converting said raffinate fraction in a steam cracking unit into light olefins.

摘要: A process includes hydrogenating, in a reaction zone, a highly unsaturated hydrocarbon received from a hydrocarbon stream to yield a product having an unsaturated hydrocarbon, the hydrogenating step occurring in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst which has a selectivity for conversion of the highly unsaturated hydrocarbon to the unsaturated hydrocarbon of about 90 mol % or greater based on the moles of the highly unsaturated hydrocarbon which are converted to the product, the hydrogenating step occurring in a reaction zone under conditions which include a flow index (IF) in a range of about 0.09 to about 35, wherein the IF is defined as: I F = F × [ CO ] V , wherein F is the flow rate of the hydrocarbon stream into the reaction zone in units of kg/h, [CO] is the concentration of carbon monoxide in the hydrocarbon stream in units of mol %, and V is the volume of the reaction zone in units of ft3.

摘要: The present invention pertains to a process for refining of crude tall oil (CTO). The process comprises fractionation under vacuum of a refined CTO into at least one stream of refined tall diesel (RTD) or tall oil fatty acids (TOFA), the RTD or TOFA comprises from 2-30% by volume of resin acids and from 20-90% by volume of fatty acids, and at least one stream of resin acid(s) (RA) comprising less than 5% by volume of fatty acids. The stream of RTD or TOFA is deoxygenated forming hydrocarbon compounds in a subsequent step. This invention also relates to a refined tall diesel. Furthermore, a process for the production of a refined tall diesel (RTD) composition, wherein crude sulphate turpentine(s) (CST) is added to the refined tall diesel (RTD) composition, is described.
