    摘要: An identification card having photographically recorded individualizing data is provided. The photographically recorded data are interspersed with a security pattern in transparent ink. This pattern is printed onto the photographic layer before the photographic data are recorded. The photographic recording process is carried out in such a way that there is no darkening under the security pattern. The security pattern, recognizable through the transparent printing ink, is thus also impressed upon the photographically recorded data.

    摘要: A stacking device for sheet material such as banknotes and receipts has a stacker drum with a suction opening at a predetermined location on the periphery. The suction opening grips the leading edges of the sheets to be stacked at a first tangential position and releases the sheets against a stopper at a second tangential position. The stacker drum has air openings on the periphery behind the suction opening. The air openings discharge pulsating compressed air to separate the portion of the sheets trailing the leading edges from the drum.

    摘要: An identification card or similar data carrier having an IC module for the processing of electrical signals, whereby the IC module along with its leads and contacts is arranged on a separate carrier element which is embedded in the card. An anchoring element is arranged in the area of the carrier element, which anchoring element extends beyond the edge of the carrier element and is connected with the material of the body of the card. This anchoring element is preferably an integrated component of the carrier element.The anchoring element has high tensile strength relative to the material of the identification card. The connection of the carrier or anchoring element with the material of the identification card can be established by recesses or perforations in the edge of the anchoring element, which are penetrated by the material of the identification card during the laminating process, by appropriate laminating adhesives or by specific designing of the anchoring element.

    摘要: A method and a device for determining the weight per unit area and/or the thickness of thin material in sheets, for example banknotes, by aid of ultrasonic waves. The device comprises a single- or multi-channel transmitter-receiver arrangement in which the banknote passing through is exposed to a pulsating sound field. The sound is transmitted to the receiver via the banknote which is set vibrating by the sound. For the evaluation of the receiver signal a time interval dependent on the sound propagation time between the transmitter and the receiver is defined which begins when the primary sound arrives at the receiver and ends before reflected portions of the transmitted sound or portions of sound from adjacent transmitters arrive at the receiver. During the time interval the receiver signal which is free from noise signals is integrated. The integration value is a measurement of the density per unit area of the test material. A special integration method allows for the detection of two or more overlapping banknotes.

    摘要: A method for producing a mini chip card out of a standard card having an embedded semiconductor chip uses a punching die with cutting edges defining the outer contour of the mini chip card. The punching die is adjusted relative to the standard card and with respect to contact surfaces of the embedded semiconductor chip so that the edges of the punching die are at a predetermined distance from the contact surfaces. The punching of the standard card is performed in this adjusted position so that the contact surfaces are in a reference position with respect to the outer contour of the mini chip card. The punching forms the mini chip card in the correct position in the standard card. The mini chip card may initially remain connected to the standard card by thin bars between the cards.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for incorporating a carrier element or module in a card body. The card body is provided with a recess shaped accordingly for incorporating the carrier element. The carrier element comprises a substrate on which an integrated circuit is disposed. Before the carrier element is incorporated a contact adhesive element is first introduced into the recess by means of a suitable tool. The carrier element can then be connected firmly and permanently with the card body with the aid of the contact adhesive element under the action of pressure.
