    摘要: In the method of fabricating a TFT in accordance with the present invention, a first semiconductor layer 37 to be used as a channel is formed on a portion of an insulating layer 35 in correspondence with an underlying gate electrode 33. A second semiconductor layer 34, ohmic contact layer 41 and metal layer 45 are then successively formed on the insulating layer 35 and first semiconductor layer 37. A photoresist pattern is next formed on a portion of the ohmic contact layer other than a portion corresponding to the gate electrode. The metal layer is patterned using the photoresist pattern to form source 43 and drain 45 electrodes, and the ohmic contact layer 41 and second semiconductor layer 39 are removed using the photoresist pattern as a mask, or using the source and drain electrodes as a mask, to expose portions of the insulating layer and first semiconductor layer. A passivation layer 47 is formed to cover the insulating layer, first semiconductor layer, and source and drain electrodes. A contact hole 49 is formed in the passivation layer, followed by formation of a pixel electrode 51 in electrical contact with the drain electrode through the contact hole.

    摘要: An electro-luminescence display (ELD) wherein a voltage supply line is separated into a plurality of lines to reduce the number of pixels connected to each line. In the ELD, a pixel array has a number of pixels, each of which includes an electro-luminescence device having a luminescent layer made from an-electro-luminescent material, an anode electrode and a cathode electrode serving as a common electrode. The pixel array is arranged in an active matrix type. A gate driving circuit and a data driving circuit are connected, via a number of scanning electrode wiring and a number of data electrode wiring, respectively, to the pixel array, for switching the pixels to selectively drive the pixels. First and second supply voltages are applied from an external circuit to the first and second supply terminals. First and second power supply lines couple the first and second voltage supply terminals with the pixel array. The pixels within the array are divided into blocks and pixels within a block are all connected to a supply line for that block. Accordingly, excessive current is not generated, which prevents head damage to the ELD and thus improves reliability.

    摘要: A method of molding a semiconductor package includes coating liquid molding resin or disposing solid molding resin on a top surface of a semiconductor chip arranged on a substrate. The solid molding resin may include powdered molding resin or sheet-type molding resin. In a case where liquid molding resin is coated on the top surface of the semiconductor chip, the substrate is mounted between a lower molding and an upper molding, and then melted molding resin is filled in a space between the lower molding and the upper molding. In a case where the solid molding resin is disposed on the top surface of the semiconductor chip, the substrate is mounted on a lower mold and then the solid molding resin is heated and melts into liquid molding resin having flowability. An upper mold is mounted on the lower mold, and melted molding resin is filled in a space between the lower molding and the upper molding.
