    摘要: A profile working machine includes a support portion, a working portion, and a drive and control system. The machine also includes displacement sensors for detecting the present relative displacements between the support portion and working portion, a load sensor for detecting each working reaction force exerted to the working portion, a memory unit for storing values corresponding to a predetermined suitable working reaction force detected by the load sensor, a deviation computing unit for computing the deviation of each working reaction force from the values stored in the memory unit, and a displacement computing unit for computing, based on the deviation determined by the deviation computing unit and the present relative displacement detected by the displacement sensors, corrective relative displacements of the support portion and working portion required to bring the difference to 0, whereby the spatial orientation of the load sensor is maintained constant relative to the direction of the suitable working reaction force.

    摘要: A pipe laying apparatus including an excavator propulsion unit located in a starting pit. The excavator includes an excavator body having a first axis, an excavating tool having a second axis and located at a forward end portion of the excavator body, and injection ports formed in the excavating tool for injecting a viscosity imparting liquid into soil as excavated. The excavator body has a rearward portion thereof disposed adjacent pipes to be laid each having an outer diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the excavating tool and positioned at a rearward end thereof against the propulsion means, and is operative to excavate the earth to form a hole therein while the viscosity imparting liquid is being injected through the injection ports into the soil as excavated to thereby produce a viscosity imparting liquid containing soil which is conveyed rearwardly through an outer periphery of the excavator body while being filled in an annular clearance defined between the hole formed in the earth and the pipes to be laid, so that the pipes can be successively laid as the excavator body and the pipes are propelled forwardly by the propulsion unit.

The tuning fork-type crystal vibrator includes a tuning fork-shaped crystal element made of a pair of tuning fork arms having grooves in their principal surfaces, and a tuning fork base portion from which the pair of tuning fork arms extends, an outer shape of the tuning fork-shaped crystal element being processed by etching. The tuning fork-type crystal vibrator has a protrusion, formed due to anisotropy of said etching, on a +X surface of the lateral faces of the tuning fork-shaped crystal element, and a first slanted portion rising from a −X direction in a +X direction formed in a tuning fork slit. A tip of the tuning fork slit on a principal surface side is shifted in +X direction from a center line bisecting the tuning fork-shaped crystal element in a width direction to a position at which tuning fork vibrations of the pair of tuning fork arms are balanced.
