摘要: Apparatus for providing information for an agricultural work machine comprising a distance detector which detects the distance travelled by an agricultural vehicle, a fuel consumption detector, which detects the amount of fuel consumed by the engine of the agricultural vehicle, a circuit for inputting the working width of the agricultural vehicle, an operating circuit for calculating fuel consumption rate indicative of the amount of fuel consumed per unit working area, and a display for displaying the calculated information. The fuel consumption detector may be replaced with a timer which detects the working time of the agricultural vehicle so that working efficiency may be obtained in place of the fuel consumption rate. The total area to be worked may be input in order to estimate the time of completion of the agricultural work or the fuel consumption rate at the time of completion of the work. Various function keys may be provided to selectively obtain necessary information among various kinds of information.

摘要: A fuel injection device for Diesel engines includes a combustion detector comprising a photoelectric transducer and a light path extended through a nozzle body to transmit the light of a combustion flame developed in an engine cylinder to the photoelectric transducer. One end of the light path is opened to an oil sump communicating with a nozzle opening so that only when the nozzle opening is opened for injecting fuel and then a combustion flame is developed, the light of the flame is passed through the light path and reaches the photoelectric transducer thereby generating an electric signal indicative of the actual time of the combustion. The whole or part of the light path may be comprised of optical fibers.

摘要: An electric control apparatus for a fuel injection pump comprises a fuel flow sensor for detecting the net quantity of fuel supplied to the fuel injection pump, operating condition sensors for detecting operating condition parameters of an engine, a servo device for driving a fuel injection quantity controlling element of the fuel injection pump which controls the fuel injection quantity of the fuel injection pump, and an electric control circuit for receiving detection signals from the fuel flow sensor and the operating condition sensors, computing the actual fuel injection quantity and the desired fuel injection quantity, and determining an error between the computed actual fuel injection quantity and desired fuel injection quantity to drive the fuel injection quantity controlling element of the fuel injection pump through the servo device in accordance with an error representing signal, thereby controlling the actual fuel injection quantity at the desired fuel injection quantity.By ensuring high detection accuracy of the fuel flow sensor, it is possible to accomplish high precision control of the fuel injection quantity without utilizing the position of a moving part of the fuel injection quantity controlling element of the fuel injection pump.

摘要: A desired function signal is provided by a logical circuit which selects one of a signal corresponding to the speed of a vehicle carrying an internal combustion engine, a signal corresponding to the intake pressure, a signal corresponding to the air-to-fuel ratio of the mixture supplied to the engine, and a signal corresponding to the opening of a throttle valve in accordance with the driving conditions of the vehicle. The amount of additional intake air flowing through an additional intake system provided in the engine is controlled in accordance with the desired function signal, thus providing an air-fuel mixture ratio which suits the driving conditions of the vehicle, the running speed of the vehicle in particular.
