    摘要: A hermetic compressor comprising a discharge valve, and a stopper for restricting an opening degree of the discharge valve. The discharge valve includes a body portion configured to cover a discharge port formed at a valve plate, and a first protrusion extending from the body portion. The stopper includes an inclined portion for supporting the body portion, and a second protrusion extending a support portion thereof. In this case, a distance between the first and second protrusions is shorter than a distance between the inclined portion and body portion. With such first and second protrusions, an opening operation of the discharge valve is gradually achieved.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a hermetic compressor. The hermetic compressor includes a suction muffler. The suction muffler includes an inlet part and a refrigerant guide pipe. The inlet part has a shape of a semi-flare pipe, and is spaced apart from an inlet pipe. The refrigerant guide pipe extends from an interior of a resonance chamber to communicate with a compression chamber. An expanding part having an enlarged diameter is provided at an inlet of the refrigerant guide pipe. The inlet part and the expanding part allow noises produced in the compression chamber to be doubly diffused, thus efficiently reducing the noises.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a multi-channel variable optical attenuator, more particularly, which comprises a multilayer structure of a fiber optic module and an attenuating module in order to enhance the integrity of the multi-channel variable optical attenuator. The multi-channel variable optical attenuator comprises at least two optical signal transmission lines which are arranged parallel with each other, and have associated separating spaces formed between input and output terminals to adjust the power of an optical signal. A screen is placed in one of the separating spaces of the optical signal transmission lines, and movable in a direction crossing the optical signal transmission lines. A Micro Electro Mechanical System (MEMS) actuator is placed above one of the optical signal transmission lines, and connected with the screen to shift the same. The MEMS actuator is placed above a first optical signal transmission line which is placed adjacent to a second optical signal transmission line for placing the screen therein.

    摘要: A component of a substrate support assembly such as a substrate support or edge ring includes a plurality of current loops incorporated in the substrate support and/or the edge ring. The current loops are laterally spaced apart and extend less than halfway around the substrate support or edge ring with each of the current loops being operable to induce a localized DC magnetic field of field strength less than 20 Gauss above a substrate supported on the substrate support during plasma processing of the substrate. When supplied with DC power, the current loops generate localized DC magnetic fields over the semiconductor substrate so as to locally affect the plasma and compensate for non-uniformity in plasma processing across the substrate.

    摘要: An apparatus for optical sensing of samples includes an optical source, an optical assembly, a sample holder, an objective lens, and a detector. The objective lens collimates light emitted by the sample. Preferably, the optical assembly rotates about an axis, allowing the sensing apparatus to sense results from plural locations on a sample without moving the sample. Moving the sample in a linear direction while rotating the optical assembly allows sensing of an entire sample. Preferably, light from the optical source enters the optical assembly along the axis of rotation. Sensing methods consistent with the invention are also described.
