Abstract:
A hybrid construction machine is capable of performing satisfactory operations even when trouble occurs that disables the electric motor from outputting torque. The hybrid construction has both a hydraulic motor and an electric motor driving the swing structure and a controller for switching between a hydraulic/electric hybrid swing mode (using both the hydraulic motor and the electric motor) and a hydraulic-alone swing mode (using only the hydraulic motor). The switching is executed while achieving satisfactory operability and performance in each mode. Normally, an energy saving operation is performed in the hydraulic/electric hybrid swing mode. When the electric amount of an electricity storage device has gone out of a prescribed range or an abnormality has occurred in an electric system (e.g., failure of an inverter), the swing mode is switched to the hydraulic-alone swing mode so that driving with normal braking torque is possible by the hydraulic motor alone.
Abstract:

Abstract:
Provided is a wiring holding structure, wherein wiring for electrically connecting a vehicle body to the vehicle sliding door is held in the vehicle body. The wiring holding structure comprises a step member provided adjacent to the vehicle sliding door and a holding portion for holding the wiring. The step member is molded of plastic material. The holding portion is for holding the wiring. The holding portion comprises a first holding portion integrally molded onto the step member; and a second holding member that is fixed to face the first holding section. The second holding member holds the wiring together with the first holding portion. The number of components necessary for the wiring holding structure can thereby be reduced, and the size of the wiring holding structure is made more compact.
Abstract:
A vehicle door driving apparatus includes a driving mechanism fixed to a vehicle door and including a motor and a drum rotationally driven by the motor. A rope member is wound around the drum and linked to the vehicle body, and rotation of the drum is transmitted to the vehicle body by the rope member to open and close the vehicle door. The driving mechanism includes: a first small-diameter gear linked to the rotary axis of the motor to rotate together with the rotary shaft of the motor; a transmission gear rotatable around the axis extending in the vehicle width direction; a sun gear rotatable around such axis; a ring gear disposed on the same axis as the sun gear; and a carrier having a planet gear engaging the sun gear and the ring gear, and linked to the drum so that the carrier rotates together with the drum.
Abstract:
A molecular beam source for use in thin-film accumulation, which enables the adjustment of the volume of a molecular beam, which is discharged per hour by using a needle valve, to be constant irrespective of a decrease in a thin-film element-forming material remaining within a crucible, contains heaters 32 and 42 for heating the thin-film element-forming materials “a” and “b” within crucibles 31 and 41, and valves 33 and 43 for adjusting the volumes to be discharged of molecules of the thin-film element forming materials “a” and “b”, which are generated within the crucibles 31 and 41. It further contains a controller for adjusting the opening of the valves 33 and 43 by servomotors 36 and 46 through feeding back information relating to the volumes of the molecular beams.
Abstract:
A method of utilizing the physiological activity of a rare saccharide, wherein physiological-activity sensitive cells are treated with the rare saccharide to modify the function of the cells. A composition containing, as an active ingredient, a rare saccharide which is introduced into physiological-activity sensitive cells and has an effect of modifying the function of the cells. The cells are human cells. The composition is a functional food, a drug, or a cosmetic. The rare saccharide is a rare saccharide belonging to aldose and/or ketose. The aldose is D-allose, and the cells are selected from the group consisting of cancer-cell proliferation inhibitory activity sensitive cells and active-oxygen production inhibitory activity sensitive cells. The ketose is D-psicose, and the cells are selected from the group consisting of chemokine secretion inhibitory activity sensitive cells, microglia migration inhibitory activity sensitive cells, and hypoglycemic activity sensitive cells.
