Abstract: A pouch-type secondary battery includes: an electrode assembly in which a positive electrode, a separator, and a negative electrode are laminated; and a pouch configured to accommodate the electrode assembly, wherein the pouch includes: a surface protection layer made of a first polymer and formed at an outermost layer; a sealant layer made of a second polymer and formed at an innermost layer; a gas barrier layer made of a first metal and laminated between the surface protection layer and the sealant layer; and a metal foil layer made of a second metal, laminated between the surface protection layer and the sealant layer, and connected to the negative electrode of the electrode assembly.

Abstract: A non-aqueous electrolytic liquid secondary battery wherein a potential of a metal layer in an exterior body is kept high, and corrosion can be suppressed, wherein an average thickness t1 of a first part of an exterior body covering a first side surface where a negative and a positive electrode terminal of a power generation element exist is different from an average thickness t2 of a second part of the exterior body covering a second side surface that intersects the first. In plan view of the power generation element from a lamination direction, in a second direction orthogonal to a first direction in which the electrode terminals extend, the relationship of t1 t2 is satisfied when the width of the negative electrode is smaller than the positive.

Abstract: A packaging material for molding includes a heat resistant resin layer as an outer layer; a thermoplastic resin layer as an inner layer; a metal foil layer disposed between the heat resistant resin layer and the thermoplastic resin layer; a first adhesive layer disposed between the metal foil layer and the heat resistant resin layer; and a second adhesive layer disposed between the metal foil layer and the thermoplastic resin layer. The first adhesive layer is composed of a color adhesive agent composition containing a color pigment and an adhesive agent. The color adhesive agent composition contains a color pigment of 2 mass % or more and less than 5 mass % with respect to a solid component. The first adhesive layer is a coating of the color adhesive agent composition of 5 g/m2 to 10 g/m2. The first adhesive layer contains a color pigment of 0.25 g/m2 to 0.49 g/m2.

Abstract: The packaging material includes a heat-resistant resin layer 2 as an outer side layer, a heat-fusible resin layer 3 as an inner side layer, and a metal foil layer 4 arranged between these layers. The heat-resistant resin layer 2 is made of a heat-resistant resin film having a hot water shrinkage rate of 1.5% to 12% and the heat-resistant resin layer 2 and the metal foil layer 4 are adhered via an outer side adhesive layer 5. The adhesive layer 5 is formed by an urethane adhesive agent containing a polyol, a polyfunctional isocyanate compound, and an aliphatic compound containing a plurality of functional groups capable of reacting with an isocyanate group in one molecule. With this, a packaging material can be provided in which excellent formability can be secured and delamination can be sufficiently suppressed without causing pinholes, etc., even when deep depth drawing is performed.

Abstract: A pouch film for a secondary battery, wherein at least an outer layer, a barrier layer, and a sealant layer are structured in this order, the sealant layer includes an extrusion (EC) layer and a polypropylene (PP) layer below the extrusion (EC) layer, having excellent sealing strength at ambient and high temperatures, and having excellent sealing strength maintenance properties at ambient and especially high temperatures, a method for preparing the pouch film, a secondary battery using the pouch film, and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. The pouch film for the secondary battery has excellent high temperature long-term reliability in battery pack manufacturing, and can be useful for medium to large-sized batteries.

At 80% or more of areas of the metal layer that face the substantially right-angled portions of the battery element, a thickness T1 of the metal layer, with respect to a thickness T2 of the metal layer of the laminate exterior body that faces the horizontal portions of the battery element, satisfies a relationship of formula |T1−T2|/T2×100(%)≤10%.
