摘要： A method for protecting a reconfigurable digital integrated circuit includes multiple parallel processing channels each comprising an instance of a functional logic block and an error detection unit, the method comprising the successive steps of: activating the error detection unit in order to detect an error in at least one processing channel, executing the data replay mechanism, and then activating the error detection unit in order to detect an error in at least one processing channel, if an error is detected again, executing a self-test on each processing channel, for each processing channel, if the self-test does not detect any error, executing the data replay mechanism for this processing channel, if the self-test detects an error, reconfiguring that part of the configuration memory associated with this processing channel.

摘要： A log-structured data store implementing data backup may implement variable data replication. Write requests may be received at different storage nodes maintaining respective replicas of a portion of a log for data maintained in the log-structured data store. Log records indicating the write requests may be stored in the respective replicas of the log portions at the different storage nodes. The log records may be sent to a backup data store to be durability persisted as part of an archived version of the log. At some of the storage nodes, in response to determining that the log records have been durably persisted in the backup data store, storage space for the log records may be reclaimed. In other remaining storage nodes, the log records may be retained and made accessible for servicing read requests.

摘要： A storage system includes one or more storage units, and a calculator. Each of the one or more storage units has plural physical storage devices, and a processor. The calculator has a controller that processes data inputted to and outputted from the storage unit by the processor. The storage system subjects the data to redundancy and stores the redundant data, and when a failure in which the data related to a read request cannot be read from one of the physical storage devices has occurred, reads the data from the readable physical storage device, recovers the data related to the read request, and transmits the recovered data to a request source of the read request. A process for recovering the data related to the read request from the read data can be selectively executed by the controller of the calculator and the processor of the storage unit.
