    摘要: To provide an exhaust gas purifying method and an exhaust gas purifying system capable of efficiently purging the sulfur accumulated in a NOx occluding reduction type catalyst, while preventing fuel consumption from deteriorating and preventing NOx, HC, and CO from being discharged into the atmosphere, in an exhaust gas purifying system constituted by combining a NOx purifying function by the NOx occluding reduction type catalyst with a PM purifying function by a DPF. In an exhaust gas purifying system (1) for performing NOx purification by a NOx occluding reduction type catalyst (42) and PM purification by an DPF (41), it is judged whether sulfur purge of the NOx occluding reduction type catalyst is required and when it is judged that the sulfur purge is required, it is further judged whether the PM quantity (PMst) accumulated in the DPF (41b) exceeds a predetermined judgment value (PMst0), and when the PM quantity (PMst) exceeds the judgment value (PMst0), sulfur purge control is performed after performing the DPF regeneration control.

    摘要: An NOx purification system and a method for control of the NOx purification system. Two oxidation catalysts are provided upstream of an ammonia solution supply unit, and an in-cylinder fuel injection is so controlled that hydrocarbon in exhaust gas is mainly oxidized by an upstream one of the oxidation catalysts and nitric oxide in the exhaust gas is mainly oxidized by a relatively downstream one of the oxidation catalysts. NOx in the exhaust gas is purified by feeding an ammonia solution to a selective reduction NOx catalyst. The system adjusts to the concentrations of HC, NO and NO2 going to the selective reduction NOx catalyst to proper values so as to purify the NOx efficiently by the selective reduction NOx catalyst, and improve NOx purification performance in a lower temperature range.

    摘要: An exhaust gas purification system has a NOx purification catalyst that purifies exhaust gas of NOx when an air-fuel ratio of exhaust of an internal combustion engine mounted on a vehicle is in a lean condition and recovers purification ability when the air-fuel ratio is in a rich condition. The system performs recovery control for setting the exhaust gas to a rich air-fuel condition in order to recover the NOx purification ability of the NOx purification catalyst, and at a time of retardation of the vehicle, both a fuel system rich control and an air intake rich control are used in the recovery control. The recovery control can be performed without worsening the drive comfort of the vehicle and with less fuel consumption.

In this way, in the exhaust gas purification apparatus (1) employing an oxidation catalyst, a three-way catalyst, or a NOx purification catalyst, and HC absorption material (4), even in an internal combustion engine operating state during acceleration, the exhaust gas flowing into the HC adsorption material (4) can be cooled efficiently and HC can be adsorbed by the HC adsorption material (4), during the period until the temperature of the three-way catalyst or the NOx purification catalyst rises to the HC light-off temperature.

    摘要: In regeneration control of an exhaust gas purification system (1) equipped with NOx occlusion reduction catalyst (11), a decision is made whether operating state of an engine is in a first engine operating range where the exhaust gas temperature is lower than a predetermined mode judgment temperature. If yes, EGR rich control is performed. Otherwise, injection rich control in exhaust pipe is performed. When EGR rich control is performed, a decision is made whether a vehicle is under acceleration or not. If a decision is made that the vehicle is under acceleration, regeneration control is postponed until that decision ends. This enables rich control for regeneration the NOx occlusion reduction catalyst (11), while avoiding deterioration in drivability (comfortableness) during acceleration of the vehicle.
