摘要: A vehicle lamp can include a primary light source and a visor for preventing the lamp from falling into a state of false illumination due to incident light from light sources other than the primary light source. The lamp can irradiate light toward a predetermined direction. The visor can be provided at a position close to either the light source or a false light source formed by light from the light source. The visor can include a plurality of grooves extending horizontally on one surface thereof, and the grooves can have a V-shaped cross section. An angle made by two sides forming the V-shaped cross section is preferably an acute angle.

摘要: A chip component supply apparatus of the invention includes a container box for storing chip components in pieces, a means for conveying chip components from the container box onto a conveyor belt, which moves intermittently and conveys the transferred chip components toward a take-out port area where a vacuum suction nozzle of an electronic component placement machine takes out the chip components. A stopper is positioned in the vicinity of the take-out port area for stopping the chip components conveyed by the conveyor belt at the take-out port area. The stopper moves and departs from the vicinity of the take-out port area when the conveyor belt finishes intermittent motion and stops, and returns and is positioned at the take-out port area before the next chip component conveyed by next intermittent motion of the conveyor belt reaches the take-out port area. The vacuum suction nozzle of the electronic component placement machine takes out the chip component at the take-out port area when the conveyor belt is stopped and the stopper is apart from the take-out port area.

摘要: In a signal processing apparatus adapted to process a signal transmitted via a transmission path, distortion of a waveform of a signal value of a specific symbol is predicted on the basis of a characteristic of distortion depending on values of symbols transmitted before the specific symbol, and the distortion is removed from the waveform of the received signal thereby producing a distortion-removed waveform. A comparison value is calculated for each allowable value of the specific symbol by subtracting a predicted signal value of the specific value from the distortion-removed waveform. A symbol value corresponding to the smallest comparison value is determined as the value of the specific symbol. An error suspicion level value indicating the degree of suspicion of being incorrect is calculated for each of the predetermined number of symbols, and already determined values of symbols are corrected in accordance with the error suspicion level values.
