Abstract: A flame-retardant polyester film and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The flame-retardant polyester film includes a physically recycled polyester resin and a chemically recycled polyester resin. The physically recycled polyester resin is formed by a plurality of physically recycled polyester chips. The chemically recycled polyester resin is formed by a plurality of chemically recycled polyester chips and mixed with the physically recycled polyester resin. The plurality of chemically recycled polyester chips further includes chemically recycled electrostatic pinning polyester chips. The chemically recycled electrostatic pinning polyester chips contain electrostatic pinning additives, and the electrostatic pinning additives are metal salts. Expressed in percent by weight based on a total weight of the polyester film, a content of the electrostatic pinning additives in the polyester film is between 0.005% and 0.1% by weight. The flame-retardant polyester film further includes a flame-retardant additive.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a heat sealable polyester film is provided. A part of a recycled polyester material is physically reproduced to obtain physically regenerated polyester chips. Another part of a recycled polyester material is chemically reproduced to obtain chemically regenerated polyester chips. Modified polyester chips, the physically regenerated polyester chips and the chemically regenerated polyester chips are mixed to form a raw material mixture, and the modified polyester chips are formed from the recycled polyester material. The raw material mixture is used to form a heat sealable layer. A base layer is disposed onto the heat sealable layer so as to obtain the heat sealable polyester film. A heat sealing temperature of the heat sealable polyester film ranges from 120° C. to 230° C.

Abstract: An infrared shielding film and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The infrared shielding film includes an infrared absorbing layer and a first infrared reflecting layer disposed on a surface of the infrared absorbing layer. The infrared absorbing layer contains a uniform distribution of composite tungsten oxide particles that are present in an amount of 0.1% to 10% by weight based on the total weight of the infrared absorbing layer. The first infrared reflecting layer contains a uniform distribution of titanium oxide particles that are present in an amount of 0.1% to 10% by weight based on the total weight of the first infrared reflecting layer.

Abstract: A matte polyester film and a method for manufacturing the same are provided, The method for manufacturing the matte polyester film includes: providing a recycled polyester material; physically regenerating a part of the recycled polyester material to form physically regenerated polyester chips having a first intrinsic viscosity; chemically regenerating another part of the recycled polyester material to form chemically regenerated polyester chips having a second intrinsic viscosity less than the first intrinsic viscosity; mixing matte regenerated polyester chips, the physically regenerated polyester chips, and the chemically regenerated polyester chips according to a predetermined intrinsic viscosity so as to form a polyester masterbatch material; melting and then extruding the polyester masterbatch material to obtain the matte polyester film having the predetermined intrinsic viscosity.

Abstract: A polyester film for laser embossing and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The polyester film for laser embossing is made from a recycled polyester material, and includes a base layer and a skin layer. The skin layer is disposed on at least one surface of the base layer. The skin layer is formed from a first polyester composition. The first polyester composition includes regenerated polyethylene terephthalate as a main component and at least one component selected from 1,4-butanediol, isophthalic acid, neopentyl glycol, 2-methyl-1,3-propanediol, pentanediol, isopentyldiol, adipic acid, and 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol, so that a melting point of the skin layer ranges from 190° C. to 240° C.

Abstract: An aqueous surface coating solution composition and a polyester film structure are provided. The aqueous surface coating solution composition includes 5-20 wt % of a resin composition and 0.15-5 wt % of an inorganic particle dispersion liquid. The resin composition includes 0.01-10 wt % of a polyester resin, 2-19 wt % of an acrylate-grafted polyurethane resin, and 0.5-10 wt % of a cross-linking agent. The inorganic particle dispersion liquid includes a plurality of first inorganic filling particles and a plurality of second inorganic filling particles, and the first inorganic filling particles have a larger average particle diameter than the second inorganic filling particles.
