    摘要: A computer software method for creating a computer animation using static and animated images is disclosed. The computer software method provides a user interface that has a first window portion and a second window portion. In the first window portion, images can be manipulated to create a frame, the frame being one of a plurality of frames which make up a computer animation. The second window portion displays the plurality of frames thus allowing previewing the computer animation. The computer software method permits a user to load at least one image into the first window portion. The at least one image in the first window portion can be edited and manipulated so as to build a scene. The user can then create a frame by capturing the contents of the first window. The computer software adds the newly created frame to the plurality of frames displayed in the second window portion. The plurality of frames is then displayed in the second window portion as an animation.

    摘要: Sequences of items may be maintained using ordered locks. These items may correspond to anything, but using ordered locks to maintain sequences of packets, especially for maintaining requisite packet orderings when distributing packets to be processed to different packet processing engines, may be particularly useful. For example, in response to a particular packet processing engine completing processing of a particular packet, a gather instruction is attached to the particular identifier of a particular ordered lock associated with the particular packet. If no longer needed for further processing, the packet processing engine is immediately released to be able to process another packet or perform another function. The gather instruction is performed in response to the particular ordered lock being acquired by the particular identifier, with the gather instruction causing the processed particular packet to be sent.

    摘要: A high-pressure stripper rubber provides inserts and support members that cooperatively support the profile of the rubber against elastic deformation. The inserts dynamically cooperate to resist elastic deformation of the rubber due to down hole pressure. The stripper rubber has a generally cylindrical upper moiety and a dynamic, generally frusto-conical, lower moiety that cooperatively define a bore for receiving oilfield equipment. A generally ring-shaped adapter insert, at least partially within the stripper rubber, is disposed toward the upper moiety for attaching the stripper rubber to drilling head equipment. A structural retention insert assembly provides (1) one or more support members proximately and movably attached to the adapter insert, and (2) one or more structural retention inserts at least partially within the stripper rubber and distally attached to the one or more support members. The stripper rubber dynamically forms a self-actuating, fluid-tight seal around varying outer diameters of oil field equipment as the equipment is tripped through the stripper rubber bore with minimal deformation of the rubber, even under high pressure.

    摘要: Particle binding compositions useful for stabilizing soil and other particles comprise water, an endosperm, an iron compound, a strong base, and a pH adjustor. The endosperm comprises the carbohydrate and protein portions of grains, seeds, or tubers. The strong base is reacted with the endosperm in the presence of water added in order to ionize the carbohydrate and protein of the endosperm and render them more soluble or dispersible in water. The iron compound promotes an electrochemical reaction that assists in the formation of a silicate crystal matrix when applied to soil. The pH adjustor lowers the pH of the composition, which improves handling ability and renders the composition more compatible with soil. Optional components such as fibrous materials and/or seeds can be added to promote vegetation or revegetation of denuded soils.
