Abstract: A disposable medical introduction system including a medical device and a disposable inserter. The disposable inserter includes a carrier to receive the medical device. The carrier includes at least one annular projection. The disposable inserter includes a retractor received within the at least one annular projection and movable relative to the at least one annular projection. The retractor has at least one retaining arm. The disposable inserter includes a needle cartridge coupled to the retractor that includes an insertion needle. The at least one retaining arm cooperates with the needle cartridge to maintain the insertion needle in a first, extended state. A movement of the retractor relative to the at least one annular projection releases the at least one retaining arm to move the insertion needle from the first, extended state to a second, retracted state.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein include a device and a non-transitory computer-readable medium. The device includes one or more processors, an analyte sensor, a communication module, and memories. The processors are configured to generate analyte data indicative of a monitored analyte level measured by the analyte sensor corresponding to a first time, generate analyte data indicative of the monitored analyte level measured by the analyte sensor corresponding to a second time, calculate a correction parameter based on the analyte data corresponding to the analyte data corresponding to the first time and analyte data corresponding to the second time, and perform a lag correction to obtain the monitored analyte level using at least the calculated correction parameter. The calculated correction parameter comprises a lag time determined from the analyte data. The performed lag correction comprises a linear correction model based on the calculated correction parameter.

Abstract: Devices associated with on-body analyte sensor units are disclosed. These devices include any of packaging and/or loading systems, applicators and elements of the on-body sensor units themselves. Abstract: Disclosed are analyte monitoring systems and methods for calibrating an analyte sensor using one or more reference measurements. These systems and methods may include using a conversion function and first sensor data to calculate a first sensor analyte level, weighting a first reference analyte measurement (RM1) and one or more previous reference analyte measurements according to a weighted average cost function, updating the conversion function using the weighted RM1 and the one or more weighted previous reference analyte measurements as calibration points, and using the updated conversion function and second sensor data to calculate a second sensor analyte level. In some aspects, the systems and methods may include updating one or more of lag parameters used to calculate the sensor analyte levels.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a sensor applicator assembly for a continuous glucose monitoring system and provides a sensor applicator assembly for a continuous glucose monitoring system, which is manufactured with a sensor module assembled inside an applicator, thereby minimizing additional work by a user for attaching the sensor module to the body and allowing the sensor module to be attached to the body simply by operating the applicator, and thus can be used more conveniently. A battery is built in the sensor module and a separate transmitter is connected to the sensor module so as to receive power supply from the sensor module and be continuously used semi-permanently, thereby making the assembly economical. The sensor module and the applicator are used as disposables, thereby allowing accurate and safe use and convenient maintenance.
