摘要: A device for pumping a liquid or gaseous current medium has a casing designed to guide the flow of the current medium and a rotary bearing motor driven rotor wheel designed to pump the current medium through the casing. The rotor wheel is equipped with a number of blades mounted on a shaft or other machine part whose function resembles that of a shaft, the blades being installed one behind the other in series in the direction of circulation. The blades project almost radially outwards in one embodiment and extend over the axial length of the rotor wheel in another embodiment. A partition fitted to the rotor wheel separates the volume flow of the medium pumped through the casing into an incoming pumping medium current, e.g. the inlet air or external air current, and an outgoing pumping medium current, e.g. the expelled air or outgoing air current. At least one heat pipe is fitted permanently to each blade, and rotates with its respective blade. One axial end of the heat pipe is directed toward the incoming pumping medium current, e.g. the inlet air or external air current, and the other axial end of the heat pipe is directed toward the outgoing pumping medium current, e.g. the expelled air or outgoing air current.

摘要: A heat rejection panel that comprises a chassis having a first side, an opposing second side, and an aperture extending therethrough. The panel additionally comprises at least one oscillating heat pipe (OHP) plate disposed over a portion of the first side and/or the second side of the chassis. Each OHP plate includes a first face, an opposing second face, and a plurality of internal OHP channels. A portion of the first face and/or second face of each OHP plate is accessible for thermal interfacing with a heat source. A portion of the second face of each OHP plate is accessible for thermal interfacing with a heat sink. Each OHP plate will remove heat from the heat source, spread the removed heat throughout each OHP plate to provide an isothermal OHP plate, and reject the heat to the heat sink.

摘要: Wire coils are distributed over the bottom surface of an inner chamber of a vapor chamber. The working fluid of the vapor chamber comprises ferromagnetic particles that are attracted to a wire coil as current passes through the wire coil. The resulting increase in the volumetric concentration of ferromagnetic particles in the vicinity of the activated wire coil increases the capacity of the working fluid to remove heat from an integrated circuit component attached to the vapor chamber in the region of the activated wire coil. The vapor chamber wire coils can be activated based on performance metrics associated with the processor units of an integrated circuit component, thereby allowing for the thermal resistance of the working fluid to be dynamically adjusted based on the workload executing on the integrated circuit component and power consumption transients.

摘要: A method and apparatus for cooling a heat source is disclosed. The apparatus includes a fin-diffuser including a blower integrated with fins of a diffuser. A heat spreader is coupled to the fin-diffuser. The heat spreader is configured to spread heat from a location proximate the blower to location of the fins. The apparatus spreads heat from a heat source proximate a blower of the fin-diffuser to a location away from the blower to cool the heat source.

摘要: A centrifugal heat dissipation device and a motor using same are disclosed. The centrifugal heat dissipation device includes a main body having a shaft hole, a heat-absorption zone and a heat-transfer zone. The heat-transfer zone has a radially outer side connected to the heat-absorption zone and a radially inner side connected to the shaft hole. The shaft hole axially extends through the main body for receiving a shaft of a motor therein. A centrifugal force generated by the rotating shaft and accordingly, the heat dissipation device enables enhanced vapor-liquid circulation of a working fluid in the heat dissipation device, so that heat generated by the operating motor is absorbed by the centrifugal heat dissipation device and transferred to the shaft for guiding out of the motor, allowing the motor to have largely upgraded heat dissipation performance.
