    摘要: The application describes a container, bag, pouch or reusable envelope which is closed by one part (2) locating over a second part (1), the second part(1) having an opening (7) for receiving the head (14) of a breakable seal (13) which locks into the opening in such a manner that it cannot be removed without breaking, the seal (13) in its inserted position locking the first part (2) in place over the second part (1) in a tamper evident fashion. The second part (1) has a shoulder (17) at either side of the opening (7) and the seal (13) has on its underside recesses (19) for registration with the shoulders (17). Typically said one part (2) is the fastener tab of the zipped opening of a reusable envelope and the second part (1) is the enclosure or chamber of a lock unit mounted on the envelope, adjacent one end of the zipped opening.

    摘要: The invention relates to a seal device, including a locking pin and a sleeve, the locking pin having a head and a stem having a groove which interacts with a locking ring disposed in the sleeve to lock the sleeve onto the pin by insertion. The sleeve also includes a first transponder housed in the upper portion of the sleeve at a depth that is greater than the height of the stem and the locking pin also comprises a second transponder disposed on the outer periphery of the stem. Each transponder includes storage means for storing at least one unique identification code. Thus, any unauthorized handling of the seal device may be detected even if the latter is completely replaced after breakage.

    摘要: A pull-through security includes a base body and a tongue that protrudes therefrom and can be inserted through a pull-through opening that is arranged in a housing component connected to the base body. A restraint inset is arranged in the housing component. The tongue is provided with toes which protrude towards the outside in a rectangular-shaped manner when seen in the cross section. The toes engage with hooks in a toothed manner, whereby the hooks are arranged in the restraint inset. The housing component is provided with an outlet. The cross section of the outlet matches the cross section of the tongue having the toes. The form practically prevents the hooks from being manipulated by simple, flat tools. Influence or manipulation of the toothing between the toes and the hooks can practically be excluded.

    摘要: A bi-directional locking socket for use with a seal device which includes a shackle having a plurality of locking elements on a surface thereof. The socket comprises a locking insert forming a locking arrangement including a body defining a chamber therein. The locking insert further includes opposing top and bottom ends where the top end defines a top opening communicating with the chamber, and the bottom end defines a bottom opening communicating with the chamber. A plurality of mirror image spaced fingers define a passageway extending through the chamber. The plurality of fingers allow passage of the locking elements as a free end of the shackle is pulled through the passageway via either the top or the bottom openings in opposite insertion directions, and lock with a locking element of the shackle when the shackle movement is in an opposite direction to the insertion direction. In the alternative, the socket has a chamber with the locking arrangement formed one piece therewith.

    摘要: A cable lock comprising a housing having two longitudinal channels extending therethrough, a pocket at one end, and a cable having one end permanently locked within one channel. There is a spring disposed within the other channel, a cap disposed in the pocket to retain the spring and a gripping mechanism slidably disposed within the second channel adjacent the spring. The second channel is tapered toward the end nearest the gripping mechanism. The gripping mechanism is a substantially rectangular device having a plurality of gripping teeth arranged in two rows along its top edge to form a plurality of opposing tooth pairs. The gripping mechanism is also tapered to conform to the tapered channel in which it is disposed. There is a longitudinal concave channel for receiving the other end of the cable disposed on the top surface of the gripping mechanism between each pair of teeth and an angled front surface for leading the other end of cable into longitudinal concave channel. The spring exerts a preload on the gripping mechanism and the teeth grip the cable and allow the cable to be inserted into but not removed from the housing. The only way to release the cable from the housing is to cut the cable.

    摘要: A seal for use with a flexible wire for providing visible evidence of tampering therewith includes a housing and a wire retaining key. The housing has two passageways for passage of the ends of the flexible wire therethrough so that the ends of the flexible wire extend beyond the boundaries of the housing. The housing also includes a keyway for receipt of the wire retaining key. The wire retaining key is inserted into the keyway and intersects the passageways so that the flexible wire passing through the housing is intercepted and bears against the wire retaining key. In this manner, the wire retaining key intercepts and deforms the flexible wire, whereby removal of the flexible wire from the housing is prevented. The key also preferably includes a detent which snaps into an engaging position within the housing when fully inserted therein. An audible snapping sound may preferably be heard to indicate that the detent is in the engaging position.
