A technique of connection between VCM system wires and a FPC of a disk drive is improved in the following manner to enable miniaturization and thinning of the disk drive and reduction in cost. There is provided a disk drive comprising a disk-shaped medium for recording information, an actuator on which a head for recording/reproducing information is mounted, a VCM for driving the actuator, a coil holder supporting a coil of the VCM, a FPC for transmitting a signal, which is read by the head, and a signal to the VCM, a cut groove formed on a side of the coil holder, ends of coil lead wires and an end of a ground wire, which are arranged in the cut groove, and an end of the FPC inserted into the cut groove to thereby be connected to the ends of the coil lead wires and the end of ground wire.

The present invention provides a method for easily measuring a brake mean effective pressure of a running vehicle. An air flow sensor, a λ sensor and a data collecting apparatus are mounted to the vehicle. A running speed and engine speed from the vehicle while actually running on a road surface, and output of the air flow sensor an the λ sensor are inputted to the data collecting apparatus. Specific fuel consumption is obtained from an intake air amount and ratio of excessive air in exhaust gas. Output of an engine is obtained from a relation between the specific fuel consumption and the engine speed.

In order to secure the reliability by controlling the integrated circuit temperature below a predetermined level, the difference in the integrated circuit cooling ability which varies with the radial position on the disk is quantified, so that power (signal) sufficient to maintain a constant temperature according to the integrated circuit temperature is supplied to the integrated circuit. Since the cooling ability at a given radial position of the integrated circuit is not exceeded by the power consumption, the integrated circuit temperature can be maintained below a predetermined level.

In the magnetic disk unit comprising suspensions in each of which an IC is mounted on a load beam, a magnetic head displacement caused by the warp of the load beam occurring due to heat generated from the IC is compensated, whereby the shortening of an access speed and high reliability of reading/writing are realized. The thermal displacement of the magnetic head is compensated by operating micro actuators on the load beam in accordance with the temperature rise of the IC which is measured by a temperature sensor. Namely, by driving the micro actuators so that the magnetic head may move in a direction reverse to the direction of the magnetic head movement caused by the thermal displacement, the thermal displacement of the magnetic head is made to be substantially zero.

The magnetic head assembly including a magnetic head having a terminal composed of a conductive film and a supporting spring. The supporting spring has interconnecting patterns (lines) on the top thereof and a projective electrode. The terminal of the magnetic head is electrically connected to the projective electrode of the supporting spring by a solderless, direct contact connection. The magnetic head is fixed to the supporting spring by using a non-electrical bonding agent. This structure makes it possible to stabilize the position of the magnetic head assembly and the relative speed variation between the magnetic head element and the magnetic disk, thereby enhancing the reliability of the magnetic disk apparatus.

A photosensitive resin composition or photosensitive heat-curing resin composition comprising a photocurable oligomer containing 2 or more polymerizable double bonds and a carboxyl group and a heat-curing component selected from a compound containing one polymerizable double bond and one epoxy group, a compound containing one or more polymerizable double bonds and one or more blocked isocyanate groups; a photosensitive resin composition comprising a photocurable oligomer containing a carboxyl group, a blocked isocyanate group and 2 or more polymerizable double bonds; and a novel compound containing one or more polymerizable double bonds and one or more blocked isocyanate groups are disclosed. The resin compositions have high photosensitivity, excellent developability and provide a solder resist pattern with excellent properties.
